"We've got a new challenger coming in at the last minute!" the announcer's voice blared through the speakers, as Midoriya walked into the central spot of the arena. "Will he end up on top? Or fail in front of the entire expo?"

"That was kind of rude," Kyoko uttered under her breathe, noticing a blonde girl beside her gripping on the handle. "Oh, hello. How rude of me to not introduce myself," she said, smiling at the girl. "Kyoko Hayami. Nice to meet you."

The female turned to see her. The girl was the embodiment of summer, kind of like a goddess of the sun. Her golden hair draped down, softly waving along the ends. Her features were soft, her cheekbones gesturing her sweet grin at Kyoko. Her ocean eyes were covered by a thin layer of glass and metal that circulated around her. "Hello! I'm Melissa Shield. Wait, did you say Hayami? As in... Naito Hayami?"

"Oh, uh," she paused, nervous about her reply and confused by how the girl referenced her father. "Yes. My father."

"Wow! My father worked for mister Hayami! He's amazing!" she exclaimed, turning back towards the stadium.

'Oh, yeah. My father...' she thought, awkward out.

Kyoko's eyes drew back towards her green haired friend. From his legs emerged neon red lights that flashed brightly in front of the audience's eyes. Drawing up, it slowly crawled and crawled until it reached his face. Once it did, green sparks began dashing out of his whole body, and a small aura of green and white light erupted from him. The boy's arms crossed in front of his face, as bolts of green lightning dazzled out of his body.

"Deku...!" Bakugo growled under his breathe. He seemed to be enraged by the way his power had developed, and things were only starting.

Midoriya then lashed his arms down. "Ready? Go!" she announced, allowing Midoriya to begin. The green haired boy hopped into the mountain field, a flashy green aura that dazzled the view followed him. He would stop ever so often to pause and defeat a robot, so then he would hop to another gorge and to the next. He was fast, the only sign of his movements was the aura that followed him. Suddenly, he erupted on the top of the mountain, emerging with a sudden, powerful blow. "An incredible run!" the woman announced. "He's also in second place with sixteen seconds!"

Bakugo turned his head towards Midoriya, while Kyoko and Kirishima excitedly watched. "Are you actually surprised?" Kyoko teased, nudging his arm.

"Oh, shut up!" he hollered at her, which made her crack in laughter, followed by Kirishima.

"Wow!" Uraraka yelped, as Midoriya walked up towards his group of friends.

"That was a good showing, Midoriya!" Iida complemented.

"I didn't think I'd be able to get so close to Kacchan's time!" he exclaimed excitedly.

"What?!" the blonde barked at him. "No way! I'll go again and blast your score to ash!"

Suddenly, the sound of a loud crash echoed in the stadium. "Ah! This is insane!" the woman announcing exclaimed, as they all turned to see a huge wall of ice spikes roaring inside the arena and quickly freezing the place. Kyoko shifted her eyes towards the screens, noticing the familiar face of Todoroki appear. His hair flowed naturally with the shivering breeze, and his eyes narrowed down with focus. "Fourteen seconds!" the woman shouted. "This gentleman has jumped to the top of the path!" she announced, as Todoroki slowly stood up. He sighed, releasing that white smoke and his hair began twirling around his forehead.

'Oh, God,' Kyoko thought, losing her composure and blushing lightly at the sight. 'Holy shit he's so hot.'

"Todoroki's here too?" questioned Midoriya.

"Another one from U.A.?" Melissa Shield asked.

"Yup!" Yaoyorozu replied.

"Your class is amazing!" she complimented. "You're gonna be such great heroes!"

"Oh, please! You're too kind!" the black haired girl responded, as the three girls blushed.

A booming sound shocked the group. Turning back, Kyoko noticed a cloud of smoke piling up behind her, choking them. The glowing embers of Bakugo's explosion made him leap, ascending into the air. The oranges and reds twirled in a fiery dance, twinkling with a force that scorched the air before cascading down in the form of waves that provided a tender heat into the stands. The flashes of colors bursted and erupted into Kyoko's retinas like volcanos.

"Out of the way, you icyhot bastard!" Bakugo hollered, as he descended and stood in front of him. "You can't just appear out of nowhere and show me up!"

"Oh God, this again," Kyoko sighed, as her and the redhead hopped back down into the central arena to calm down their blonde friend.

"Don't ignore me!" he continued to bark. "What are you even doing on the island anyway?"

"My father was invited, so I'm representing him," he replied.

"Um, the next person is waiting!" the announcer girl awkwardly said.

"Shut up! I'm doing it again!" Bakugo sneered at her, which only made her jump and scream.

"I apologize," Kyoko sighed, as she sprinted towards the centre. "Hey, Shoto," she greeted, waving his way.

"Hey, Kyoko," he smiled back.

Bakugo continued to bark, shout and holler in pure rage, as Iida and Midoriya joined to attempt calm down the blonde boy.

"This certainly will be more difficult than you thought, Kyoko!" Kirishima shouted, as they began pushing the blonde outside the arena.

"Yeah, I know," she sighed, disappointment slithering in her voice. "Let's go back to the hotel. We'll get you changed and you can take a bath to relax, alright?"

"Whatever," Bakugo replied dryly.

Kyoko rolled her eyes. "We gotta work on that attitude of yours, sweetheart," she sighed.
