Beep Beep Beep

I groaned, slamming my phone in an attempt to make the noise stop.

'Gosh, I'm so stupid! I forgot to take off my alarm for school who does that!? damnit!"

I might as well get up since you know, I'm already awake anyways.

I rolled out of my bed, slumping to the ground. I stood up making my way to the kitchen, half-asleep.

What I didn't expect was to see Steve there. What could he be doing at this time of the morning?

"Hey kiddo, what are you doing up?"

"What am I doing up? What are you doing up?"

I rubbed my eyes plopping on the barstool next to Steve.

"I'm going on my daily morning jog."

"You're doing what!?"

"Going on a jog?"

"Oh no I heard you. I'm just questioning your life decisions at the moment."

He chuckled halfheartedly shaking his head. Over the span of months, I've been more comfortable and easy-going around the avengers. I went to Mr. Rogers to Steve rather quickly considering I'm the most awkward person you'll ever meet.

"Well, wanna go with me, spidey boy?"

I pretended to think, looking at the roof for a few seconds.

"Absolutely not. Nope."

He looked at me with a blank expression rolling his eyes.

"C'mon Pete don't be like that. Pleaseee join me?"

I sighed giving in. I'm already up and have nothing better to do. So why not. Plus, more bonding time with steve.

"Fine."

"Awesome! Now off you go and get ready young man. You are far from dressing appropriately for a run."

"Okay Steve I'm going quit rushing me"

He laughed once again

I'm not sure where this sudden rush of confidence came from and especially towards Steve but who knows. Probably from waking up too early. I'm just grumpy I guess.

Not more then 5 minutes later I was dressed in gym shorts and a Nike shirt.

I walked to the kitchen quickly scarfing down some food. Steve walked by me, tossing me a water bottle.

"Let's to lazy butt."

I replied with a groan, trailing behind him. This is not what I wanted or expected to do on a Saturday morning.

I usually slept in or scrolled through my Instagram under the covers, occasionally watching vines on YouTube. This was very new to me. Spiderman or not.

"Now I'm warning you kiddo, this is going to be tough. Try to keep up eh?"

"I'll try," I replied sarcastically, rolling my eyes.

We started our run soon after. And let me just say. Damn.

It was way more intense then I thought. I could hardly keep up with him.

"You good there buddy?"

"I'm. Doing. Just. Peachy. You?"
I replied between breaths, resting my arms on my knees to steady myself.

"Well, how about we rest for a bit?"

"Yes!!!" I tried not to sound too excited to rest, but as you can tell, I failed. I couldn't help it, that man is like godamn flash.

I collapsed on the park bench, taking a large gulp of water.

He sat next to me glancing at me ever so slightly. I dabbed the excess water off my chin, furrowing my brows at his expression.

He suddenly burst into laughter clutching his side.

"Pete you should see your expression right now! It's priceless!"

I laughed along not knowing why the hell we were laughing but enjoyed either way.

He wiped a fake tear, standing up after a good 3 minutes of laughing hysterically. Some passbyers gave us a weird expression but we could care less.

"Y'know Steve, I actually had a lot of fun this morning thank you."

"Of course Peter! I'm glad you had a good time. If you want to do this again let me know. We should hang out more often. After all, you are my nephew."

He winked at me grinning. I smiled, rolling my eyes. Sure, I thought of him as my uncle, just never expected him to think of me more than just a teenager.

It was, gratifying. Under all that muscle Steve is just a big sweetheart, like a big teddy bear.

"I'm probably never ever going to do this again. But thank you, Steve, this morning was really nice. And yes we should "Bond" more often."

He chuckled shaking his head.

"Well, if your up for it, want to go get tacos for lunch?"

My eyes shone in excitement. I love tacos, and had a sudden craving for them ever since yesterday!

"Yes! How'd you know? Are you a psychic or something?"

"Unfortunately no, but I was a teenager once you know," he said

"Yeah like a hundred years ago." I teased

He snickered wrapping his arm around my shoulder, leading me to the taco place.

10 minutes later, we were in one of the booths, talking about all sorts of things while we ate. I was really enjoying myself.

"So, got your eye on someone Pete?"

I blushed, hiding my face in my hands. I could not believe he was asking me this right now. The Captain America. And yes, I still haven't got over the fact I lived with him. If you told me three months ago I went on a run and got tacos with the famous beloved superhero, I would've called you crazy. It's so unbelievable.

He smirked, placing his chin on his hands leaning forward, his eyes shining like a teenage girl spilling gossip to her friends.

"Soo, who's the lucky lady?"

I gave a small smile my eyes trailing around the taco place

"Well, it's complicated."

"Oh come on Peterrr" He stretched out my name, leaning forwards further.

"Ok, so.."

I was looking out the window, avoiding Steve's eye contact. When I spotted.... Mj!

Oh shit

"Hey kiddo what's wrong? Aren't you going to tell me?"

His eyes followed mine, grinning smugly at the person I was intently staring at.

Double shit

Steve you better not fuck this up

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here. The special crush."

"Steve if you screw this up I swear to f-"

He cut me off, being a smartass polite person.

"Language."

"-to god I will not be afraid to web you to the wall and leave you there for hours on end." I glared at him, looking as serious as I possibly can.

"First of all, we both know that you're not capable at looking scary nor serious, and second of all, I won't let you."

I grumbled, sinking into my seat in defeat, knowing he was right.

"Well go!"

I looked at him dumbfoundedly, wondering what on earth he was talking about

"Go..?"

"Ask her out!"

Oh you've got to be kidding me.

"No way. Nope. Never. Zilch."

"Come on Peter, don't be a chicken."

I scoffed, rolling my eyes,

"Yeah like how you were with Peggy?"

"Who told you that!?"

"That's not important. Anyway, no. Absolutely not."

"Well to bad I don't take no for an answer. Let's go!"

"No. No!!"

He picked me up dragging me outside.

I'm so fucked
