~Leaf's POV~

I was out getting some things for the dorm when somebody came up to me.

"Excuse me," They got my attention.

I turned only to see a familiar-looking face. Although they looked familiar, I couldn't place who they were.

"Aren't you Leaf from Last Chance?" They asked me.

My eyes grew wide. We had just debuted 2 months ago so I wasn't expecting to be recognized.

"Uh, yes I am." I said with an awkward chuckle.

"I'm sorry to bother you, but I saw you and had to say something." The familiar-looking boy said. "I'm Yunsung and I'm a huge fan of your's."

The name Yunsung sounded familiar. I examined the boy again until it finally hit me.

"OMO!" I exclaimed. "You're Yunsung from Romeo!"

The boy smiled and gave a small chuckle.

"I didn't know if you'd know me." He confessed.

"Of course I do!" I exclaimed. "I'm actually quite a fan."

The boy smiled. "I'm happy to hear that."

I smiled at him back.

"Hey, since you are a fan and since I'm a fan of you, how would you feel if I took you out for coffee? Do you like coffee?" He asked.

My face lit up, mostly at the fact that an idol invited me somewhere. "I do."

"Great." He said. "Does right now, work?"

"Yeah, just let me pay for these." I replied, holding up the bag of items I had in my hand.

"Oh, let me." Yunsung said, pulling out his wallet.

"Oh no, that's okay."

"Please, I insist."

Yunsung reached his arm out, touching my bag of groceries. Our hand slightly touched and I looked him in the eyes. He smiled.

"O-Okay." I muttered.

His smile grew wider as he took the bag and walked over to the counter. He quickly paid for my items before leaving the store with them, causing me to follow. He took me to his car where we both got in. He drove to the nearest coffee house in which we enjoyed some coffee as well as some pastries as our dinner. We talked for hours, before I knew it it was 9:30.

"OMO!" I exclaimed. "It's 9:30, we should get going."

"Oh my!" Yunsung said, checking the time as well.

He took out his wallet and slapped some money on the table, enough to cover our bill.

"I can pay some too." I spoke.

"It's okay." Yunsung said. "I was the one who offered to take you out, it's only fair that I pay."

Although I felt bad, there was a part of me that also...swooned at the gesture. After paying, Yunsung offered to drive me home so he did. He even got out of the car to walk me to the door.

"Thanks for today." Yunsung said.

"Why are you thanking me?" I snickered. "I should be thanking you. It was you who made my boring night less boring."

"Yeah, but it was you who made my birthday a good one." He said.

My eyes widened. Birthday? I don't remember anything about a birthday.

"Wait, it's your birthday today?" I asked.

All he did was smirk. "Can we exchange numbers? I would love to talk to you again."

I smiled. "I would love that."

We quickly exchanged phone numbers before saying goodbye to one another. After going inside and putting away the things I picked up from the store, I did some research. I looked up what Romeo Yunsung's birthday was only to realize it was today. Feeling bad, I quickly sent him a message.

Sorry for not realizing it was your birthday. I'll make it up to you. Next time it's on me.

After a few minutes, I got a text back from him.

Don't worry about it. We only just met. But I am definitely taking you up on that offer ;)

I snickered before sending him a reply. Before I knew it, we were texting all night. Until I stopped receiving texts at about 2AM. That's when I knew he had fallen asleep. Nonetheless, it made me smile, and go to sleep. I was happy and somehow, he made my day.

-Monday, May 4, 2020~7:55PM-

~Junhyuk's POV~

I arrived at the practice room Eli told me to meet at. I was 5 minutes early but I hoped he wouldn't mind. I arrived and knocked on the closed door. After knocking, I opened the door only to see a room full of lit candles, some blankets in the middle of the room with food bowls beside them, as well as a projector set up against the wall. Elijah, one of the trainees who I believed was going to be a great solo artist in the future, was standing in the middle of the room.

"Happy Birthday Junhyuk." He said.

"Oh...My...God..." I looked around, nothing but a smile and amazement in my eyes.

After I finished admiring the place, I took a step into the room, letting the door close behind me.

"Hyung, you did all this?" I asked, still full of amazement.

"I had help, but yes, it was all my idea." He said.

I scoffed out of admiration.

"This is unbelievable." I said, giving him a hug.

Hesitant at first, Eli gave me a hug back.

"After what you did for me for my birthday, I came up with this." He told me as I pulled away from the hug.

"It's beautiful." I smiled. "And how'd you know I liked candles so much?"

"I've known you long enough to know your small obsessions." He replied. "Just like how you know I like looking at the stars."

I smiled even bigger. The fact that he wasn't near me very much but knew things like that made me happy. I didn't even think any of my members knew that.

"Come on, let's watch a movie." Eli said.

I nodded in agreement and we sat down on the blankets he had set out. He played the movie on the projector as we munched on the snacks he brought. I really enjoyed the night and I hoped he knew that. I couldn't wait to see him again either, maybe next time on a regular day and not on either of our birthdays.

~Authors Note~

Hey guys! So I thought this chapter was really cute. I originally was going to have Leaf take Yunsung out for dinner but I remembered they hadn't officially met yet so I did that instead. I thought this was better anyway, it was cuter hehe. Also, the Junhyuk's POV, you can see the other side of it (Eli's POV) in Chapter 9 of Shared Journey ;) Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed and I'll see you soon, hopefully next chapter will be their comeback. Okay Biez!
