A MURDER OF CROWS Hinata x Haikyuu (wings au)

Part 3 Training

(A/n: sorry this took so long! It's been kinda hectic because school is starting back up fully so I'm not getting as much time to write!)

Third person POV~

Hinata jumped up out of bed. He quickly had a shower and got dressed, ready for when Tanaka and Nishinoya would get to his house. He waited and waited until he heard a knock on the door. He excitedly jumped down the stairs and opened the door. There stood Nishinoya and Tanaka, Tanaka was wearing a red hoodie and black jeans, he had a grey beanie on his head but took it off as he came in because it wasn't as cold in the house as it was outside. Nishinoya also went into Hinata's house, he was wearing a grey hoodie with a jean jacket over it. He was also wearing black jeans and they both took off their shoes as they went inside his house. Hinata shut the door and ran over to the kitchen to get food and drinks. He asked if they wanted anything else as he walked into his lounge room to meet the older boys. He placed everything down on the coffee table. He stood in front of the two second years and put his hands on his hips. Hinata knew that they wanted to ask a million questions before they stared practice so he waited for their shouts and screams. He was glad that Natsu was at her friends house for the weekend and his mother was on a business trip, so he didn't have to worry about disturbing anyone except maybe his neighbors. Finally the questions came spilling out, they asked what it felt like, how it was to shower, if he had tried flying yet. There where a couple of questions that they already knew the answers to, but they still asked them anyway. Hinata tried to answer all of the questions he could so that they could get to practice or just so that they could hang out.

He finished answering their questions and they decided to just watch a movie and hang out. Tanaka chose a horror movie saying it was one of his favourites. They played the movie and sat on the couch, Hinata had gotten some blankets in case they got cold.

Halfway through the movie the power went out. Hinata and Nishinoya screamed and clung onto each other. It wasn't that dark outside so they could see pretty clearly. They quickly let go of each other leaving Nishinoya blushing. Hinata walked over to the light switch and flicked it on and off again to see if it would turn back on but it was no use. He looked at his phone and saw that he was not connected to the internet anymore. He looked up back to his upperclassmen and sighed, "The power's out." He said disappointedly.

"Don't worry about it Hinata, we can do some practice outside while it's still bright." Nishinoya said, smiling as he got up from where he was sitting on the couch.

"Thanks Nishinoya-senpai," Hinata said smiling at the older boy.

"Just call me Noya."

Tanaka got up too and walked over to the back door. Hinata walked out with them, shutting the door behind him, and got them to help him get out an old mattress from the garage. They pulled it out and laid it down onto the grass. Hinata jumped on it a couple of times before jumping with full force. He flew higher than his normal jump and opened his wings on the way down. They caught the wind and he glided down back to the ground. Tanaka and Noya clapped and Hinata sarcastically bowed like a king. He got back onto the mattress and started flapping his wings enthusiastically. He tried as hard as he could to lift himself into the air but he gave up after a couple of tries. They all went back inside when it got dark and decided to watch the rest of the movie. Hinata checked the power to make sure it was on, it was, and sat down on the couch next to Noya. He put the blanket over him and Noya as it was getting cold. Tanaka sat on the floor, when Hinata asked him why he said it was so he could 'feel the movie more' but Noya knew that it was so Hinata and Noya could cuddle up on the couch without Tanaka there watching them. Tanaka looked back at Noya and winked making the boy blush hard. The lights were off, the only light source they had was the moon peeking through the window and the Tv. At this point in the movie there was a big jump scare. Hinata and Noya clung to each other in fear. Hinata let go of Noya but snuggled up closer to him. Noya felt his face heat up. He was really glad it was dark so that Hinata couldn't see. Noya put his arm over Hinata and rested his head on top of the ball of orange fluff.

A little while later Hinata and Noya had fallen asleep on the couch. Tanaka found them and took a picture before pulling out his pj's and changing in the bathroom. He fell asleep on the floor of the lounge room. He didn't mind because there were still lots of extra blankets that Hinata had gotten out for them. He got comfortable and promptly fell asleep.
