Amaya’s POV
Holy fucking shit. MY LOCKET WAS GONE. I could feel my stomach twist and a wave of despair washed over me I could feel tears waiting to run down my cheeks.
I looked up at Ebisu Sensei and he gave me a worried look because of the look I had on my face. “Is everything ok Amaya?”
“No I’m not, I need to go.” After I said that I went into the other room and grabbed Naruto. “We need to go.”
He didn’t have time to protest because I just dragged him out of the class, I didn’t look back I just kept my head straight ahead, but I could tell that our group was following behind us.
“Hey! You can’t just leave my class!” I ignored him and kept walking and dragging Naruto until we reached the garden.
Naruto finally decided it was the best time to ask what was going on. “What’s the matter Amaya? Why did you drag me out of class?”
I finally turned around, by now tears were streaming town my rosy cheeks. “I lost my locket.” I whispered my voice trembling.
His eyes widened and he quickly wrapped his arms around me in a hug, wrapped my arms around his waist and buried my face into his chest.
I couldn’t see them but I knew that our friends had finally caught up to us. “What’s wrong?” I heard Temari ask Naruto.
I could feel his chest vibrate as he answered her question, “She lost her locket.” Sasuke decided to give hos opinion. “So it’s just jewelry she can just buy another one.”
I tightened my grip on Naruto’s waist and buried my face even deeper into his chest, how dare he say that he doesn’t have any idea what that locket means to me, Naruto had the same idea.
He’s grip on me tightened as well and you could tell by the tone in he’s voice that it was a touchy subject.
“You have no idea what it means to her.” He growled, he knew what it meant to me and wasn’t about to let anyone badmouth it.
Ino decided to butt in trying to make peace. “Well can you explain to us what it means then? So we can understand and help.”
I finally removed my face from Naruto’s chest and sniffled I looked up at him. “Do you want to tell them?” he asked me caressing my face.
I nodded my head. “I was going to tell them later today anyway.” I gave him a reassuring smile to prove that I was going to do this.
“Alright then.” Was his only response, his grip on me loosened and we I turned to face the others, all of them gave concerned looks because I was still crying a bit.
“Well I going to have to tell you everything if I want to get you to understand why it is that, that locket is important to me.”
They all nodded their heads understanding, I took a deep breath and began my story. “Well, just before I even came to Japan I was unaware that I use to have a life, a family here. When I was in America I wasn’t Amaya Uzumaki, I was Amy Sparks.”
I paused waiting for their reactions, Temari’s and Ino’s eyes widened in shock, while the guys just had their mouth open like fish.
Well, most Gaara and Sasuke just had a look of surprise, I continued. “My adopted parents told me they found me when I was seven on their private beach.
The only reason I found out who I was, was because of that locket, it had my real name engraved into it and had a picture of my parents and sibling.
