Juliannas POV:

I walk around the streets all day and usually find shelter or stay by adults that look nice to stay safe because I am only 5 and cannot defend my self at all. **FLASH BACK** I was abandoned on my 5th birthday, my mom left me at a store and said that she would be back and that she was in the bathroom. after about an hour of sitting there I was suspicious and checked to see she was gone. I wasn't scared or anything I just walked around the streets of LA by myself, no strange people ever tried to take me because I would walk around random people so others would assume I'm their daughter. ** END OF FLASH BACK **

(Present day)

As usual I am walking around and asking people for food and stuff acting like my mom or dad is near by

- time skip -

It's night time and I was about to go to a store to find somewhere to sleep when I saw a kitty. It ran and I chased it not even caring where it went I followed it and when the kitty turned a corner I did too. When I did I couldn't see the kitty and then I realized I was in a dark alley, I got scared but was curious to where the kitty was, I start to try and call the kitty.

Me: "Kitty come out pweas." I say whispering kinda loudly. Me: "Kitt-." I stopped what I was saying as I heard a man whisper
Man#1: "Bro look there's a kid in the fucking alley."

I start to get scared so I hide behind a dumpster in the alley.

Man#2: replies "Brotherrrr are you sure that's a kid and not some demon." He chuckles

Man#1: "shh bro shut up."
"Hello? Are you okay?" He whispers into the alley.

I peep my head to see 2 men and a women.

Man#1: "it's ok I'm not gonna hurt you come here, are you okay?"

I slowly walk to the man on my tippy toes still leaving a distance between me and him.

Me: "Hewo?"

Woman#1: "hey there sweetheart come here."

I start to wonder if I should be afraid it's really late at night and barley are cars or people around, I just YOLO it and slowly walk over to the woman and hide behind her leg from the men (my father was abusing my mother before I was abandoned)

Me: "what your name?" I say looking up and the woman with fear in my eyes.

Woman#1: "Aw hey there sweet girl, I'm Katrina and this is Colby and Sam." She says pointing to herself then them.

Katrinas POV :

This little girl is so cute but she looks scared and lost. Colby saw her in the alley calling for a cat and then told Brennen. Colby kept trying to ask her to come out but she was scared and wouldn't budge, But when I called her over she came and hid from Colby and Brennen behind my leg so I'm guessing she's more comfortable around women.

"Where are your parents?" I asked her in a calming tone to make he feel better.

Julianna : "I don't have a mommy anymore and daddy weft."

Hearing that broke my heart and also confused me why she was alone out here.

As I was thinking I felt a tug on my pant leg on my outer thigh I look down to see the little girl wanting my attention as I look and her she motions for me to pick her up while saying "up up up." I heard Sam and Colby giggle as I picked her up I rolled my eyes to them. Then I look back at the little girl realizing I never got her name so I asked her "what is your name?"

"Julianna!" She responded with a big smile on her face it made my heart melt. I then start to say to colby and Sam to call 911 or CPS but I get cut off when Julianna starts to cry I look at her and hug her "what's wrong Julie?" I asked she put her head on my chest and sniffed then said "I want to go home.."

"okay we can take you home do you know where it is?" I ask

She nods 'no' and says "I want to go home with you."

I was taken aback I was confused I ask "Wait me?"

"Yea pweas." she says while starting to fall asleep on my chest. I tell Colby to open the door to the car and I get in the back with julianna as I take her off of me and put her in my lap and put my seat belt over me and her. Sam got in the front seat and looked back at me and julianna as colby was driving home to the new trap house

Sam: "what are you gonna do keep her?! She's probably marked as missing and hasn't been enrolled in school yet!" He whisper yelled at me "I'm not having this conversation right now Samuel I'm tired." I doze off to sleep

About 20 minutes later I feel small hands shake me awake I look over and see julianna she wants to see the house! I think am happily to myself "okay okay!"
I say as I open my door and let julianna get out first, we start to walk up to the house and julianna is jumping around waiting for colby to open the door when he does she runs inside and runs to every room finally getting to the stairs and starts to walk each step at a time as I start to talk to Sam "hey sa-." I start to say as I hear a scream from upstairs.
