Today's afternoon is gonna get real weird, I can feel it. The girls texted me if we could grab Starbucks with the guys. I replied back with a yes and rolled out of bed. I haven't seen Morgan yesterday or at this moment. Where is she? I did my morning routine and got dressed. I walked in her bedroom and she's nowhere to be found. Maybe she's having a sleepover or visiting our cousins. I texted my parents to let them know I'll be with the gang. I sprinted downstairs and pulled out my car keys. I opened the door and honked my car. I got in and drove from the driveway. On the way, I picked up the girls and Zack took his car with the guys. We arrived at Starbucks to order a few drinks and food. We grabbed a table to sit and talked throughout the hour. I drank my juice and laughed with Kelly. Zack's arm was wrapped around my waist. My thoughts about Morgan's absence returned. Where is she? Why I haven't seen her since yesterday? I'm really hopeful she's not kidnapped or lost somewhere. I snapped out of my thoughts when Kelly pulled out her phone for group selfies. I fake smiled and posed with them. I looked down and fiddled with my bracelet. Randi raised an eyebrow. "You ok?" He whispered. I sighed. "It's Morgan. I haven't seen her since family day. She's not even in her bedroom." I told him. His eyes widened. "What?!" He shouted a bit. Everyone noticed his burst including some employees here. I smiled sweetly, letting them know everything's fine. Zack and the gang wasn't convinced. "Is everything ok?" Jessie asked. Randi took a deep breath. "Morgan's missing or lost because Mia haven't seen her since yesterday." He said. All their jaws dropped. "Where is she?" Screech asked, worriedly. Zack rolled his eyes. "If she knew where she is she would've told us, doofus." He growled. Slater patted my shoulder for comfort. "Have you called your parents?" Kelly asked. I huffed. "They're at work today. What am I gonna do?" I said. Randi shrugged. "Have you called her?" He asked. My brain clicked. I didn't call her! Good idea! I pulled out my phone and dialed her number. Everyone including me waited for Morgan to answer. "Hello?" She said. I breathed a breath of relief. "Morgan, where are you? You weren't at home yesterday or now." I said. "Say what? Oh yeah! Sorry! This seem awesome but I was rescued!" She told me. I raised an eyebrow in shock. Rescued? By who? I hated to be right about kidnapping. "Who rescued you?" I asked. "The Avengers! A group of people invaded my best friend's house in attempt to hurt her family but one of the Avengers kicked their butts and saved them!" She explained. This doesn't make any sense. The Avengers saved her friend's family because people invaded to kill them? "Where are you now?" I asked. "I'm in the Avengers tower with everybody! Can you believe that?!" She said, sounding very cheerful. I playfully rolled my eyes. "I better believe it." I muttered. She huffed. "It's true! I told them about you and Miss Agent Hill will pick you up." She said, hanging up. I groaned. "What happened?" Zack asked. I smiled sheepishly. "Apparently, she was spending the night at her friend's when a couple bad guys broke in her friend's home to kill them...till Avengers saved them." I said, quickly saying the last part. Their eyes widened. "Avengers?!" They shouted a bit. A few people heard their voices.
Randi shushed them with his finger. "We have to go after her!" Kelly suggested. Slater scoffed. "Duh! We'll get to meet Iron Man and practically Thor!" He said, smiling. Zack chuckled and nodded. We girls and Randi growled toward them. He changed his expression quickly. "She said Miss Agent Hill will pick us up." I said. Lisa nodded. "Ok, let's go!" She said. We paid for our breakfast and left the cafe. We were immediately bombarded by S.H.I.E.L.D cops with dual guns, two arriving by parachutes and one person in a functional black spy suit walked up to us. He wore an eye-patch which meant one thing; Director Nick Fury. "What the hell is going on?!" Randi yelled. Fury signaled the cops to lower their guns. He walked up to me and smiled. "Hi kids, my name is- Zack cut him off. "Director Fury, the head of S.H.I.E.L.D." He said, smiling. His eyes widened of how exactly he knew his name. I sighed. "We know who you are and I especially know you. Miss Hill." I said. The lady next to him wore a dress instead of gear. She was holding a clipboard and not a weapon. Fury hid a chuckle. "You must be Morgan's sister, Mia and all her friends. She called us to pick you up and take you to the Tower. You must be settle because we don't wanna give away attention or draw people to their secret location." He said. Slater scoffed. "Too late." He whispered. Jessie smacked his shoulder. "Just follow our ride with yours." Miss Hill added. I nodded as the gang hurried off to mine and Zack's. We separated into two groups. Fury and Miss Hill got in two large SUVs and we followed them.
