This morning i woke up before Ryland and carefully untangled myself from his grip, and decided to go for a run.
the beach this time of the morning is beautiful, there aren't many people around and the dull light from the sun coming above the ocean creates a wave of pinks, blues and purples. Honeslty if i could i would stay here forever.
I do a five mile jog and then head back to the hotel we're we are staying at to make a fruit smoothie, i have a feeling today is going to be a good day.
When I get back to the hotel most people are awake but Ryland and Chase are still sleeping, surprise surprise. So i head back into the room to get an outfit for the day and wake Ryland up.
After quickly sliding on my copper bikini and a pair of denim shorts, i walk over to the other side of the room when're Ryland is so piecefully sleeping, I gently shake him and his eyes flutter open, those beautiful brown eyes.
"morning Ry"
"hey cutie" his raspy morning voice echoes through the room, ugh i love it.
"come on we have an amazing day planned, get up sleepy" i giggled and stepped back giving room to get out of bed, but he grabs my wrist and drags me into bed with him, his arm slid around my waist giving me shivers because i had no shirt on.
"hey, I just had the best sleep ever, let me be. You are very comfy you know that" his voice vibrates the back of my neck and blush filled my cheeks, the way this boy has an effect on me is crazy.
"wouldn't you rather go outside and enjoy the beautiful beach?" honestly no I would love to stay here but everyone is waiting for us.
"nope, i could stay like this all day"
How did me doing the simple job of waking him up turn into me ending up back in bed tangled in his body. No i have to get up, we have great thinks planned. I pulled out of his grip and stood up out of bed, pulling the blanket with me so he has to get up.
"no. you. blanket. here. now" he fold his arms acting like a child that just lost tv privileges.
And just like that I left the room leaving the blanket on the floor hoping he actually listened to me this time.
Back in the kitchen everyone was kinda segregated into different groups having their own little conversations about what we are going to do today, someone mentioned zip lining, which i was so keen for because i have always wanted to try it.
Ryland sleepily walked into the kitchen dressed in just board shorts, which was honeslty a beautiful sight to see.
"hey sleepy finally got up did we?" i giggled looking back at him
"shut up" he slightly smiles okay Ryland is not a morning person, i will take a note on that.
It takes everyone around half an hour to get completely ready and we decide to walk to the ziplining place because it wasn't that far away. Charli was freaking out the whole walk because she is petrified of heights poor thing, but chase comforted her the whole way, aww young love.
So long story short it was amazing i went like five times, Charli built up the courage to go with chase i'm proud of her. Everyone else went a couple times each and honestly it was just an amazing experience, being around people i love, my family and just over all having an incredible time.

After zip lining everyone was keen for lunch and then the beach.
"there's a cute restaurant on the way to the beach i saw it yesterday" i suggested as we were trying to figure out what we felt like.
"oh my god i remember that, yes we have to go" charli jumped up
"well I guess the decision is made then" nick announces
we all head down to the restaurant and it is the cutest thing ever, we get placed at a large table with a view of the beach. As soon as we have seated everyone orders there food, i decide to go halves with Charli with a seafood basket because they were massive.
Lunch was honestly amazing, i haven't eaten that well in ages, i am now sitting on the beach between Ryland's legs watching the waves hit the shore, its beautiful.
eventually the sun goes down and it gets dark, i didn't notice how long Ry and i had sat there talking for. we spoke about anything and everything under the sun. I think we just wanted, no needed eachothers company. we head back to the hotel with the others, they seemed to entertain themselves for however long we were down there
I am currently leaning on the headboard of my bed bed in a sports bra and nike pros with Ryland across my lap and Charli and Chase down the other end of the bed, we are have a little conversation every now and then but mainly watching tiktoks and enjoying eachothers company.
A notification comes up on my phone, it's Charli sending me a photo of Ryland and I on the beach. Obviously i had to post it.

After Ryland saw the picture a huge smile grew on his face and we made eye contact for a good couple minutes, Charli and Chase weren't paying attention and I wanted to kiss him right then but it would have been awkward for the others in the room.
They eventually left and Ryland decided he wanted to sleep in my room for the rest of the trip which i obviously didn't have a problem with, drifting off to sleep in his arms is an amazing feeling.
