Megan's POV

"Riley you have to stop calling me."

"No. We need to talk."

"We don't need to do anything."

"Megan."

"I'm hanging up."

"Do-"

Riley couldn't finish what she was about to say as I quickly hung up the phone. This has been going on ever since that day at the apartment when she tried to kiss me. She's been calling none stop since that day over a month ago but this is the first time I answered, curiosity got the best of me.

If she keeps bugging me I'll have to do something I don't want to, the only reason I haven't is because she hasn't come by since the last time and if she has I haven't seen her luckily.

I don't understand her persistence on reviving something that never was, something herself didn't let happen back then and now when I'm happy, or at least at peace she comes and does that, she's so selfish no wonder she's with Paris, they're perfect for each other.

Anyhow, I continued to walk down the aisle putting every snack that looked good into the cart.

Without looking where I was going I accidentally bumped the cart against another one.

"Oh sorry I wasn't looking," I said and turned my gaze to see the person who I bumped with.

"Don't worry, neither was I."

"Harper?" I said confused as she started to walk away, "Hey wait."

She stopped on her tracks and turned around to face me.

"What do you want firehead?"

I studied her, she looked tired and gloomy. I know her and Summer have been having problems for the last month, I've walked in during some of their fights but I don't know what they're about Summer hasn't been the most talkative person this past month. If it wasn't for me walking in those times I wouldn't have known, Summer is really closed off lately so I rather not push her unless is really necessary.

"Are you okay?"

"You know I'm not," she said wearily.

"I'm sorry things between you two haven't been the best lately." That was the best that I could come up with and I feel like it came out lame.

"So am I, I gotta go." Harper started to go but I again for some reason stopped her.

"Wait!"

She sighed and turned again.

"Tyler and I are going to binge watch some Netflix shows on his appartment all day, so I was wondering if you maybe would like to join us."

For some reason I didn't want her to be alone. She just looks so miserable it made me feel bad, if Summer doesn't want me to help her then the less I can do is help Harper.

"I don't know," she said hesitantly.

"If it's Summer that concerns you, she's not coming."

We asked Summer yesterday if she wanted to join us but she declined saying she had work to catch up with. It sounded more like an excuse but I chose not to said anything.

"Sure why not..." she agreed.

"Awesome! I'm buying the snacks for it, want anything specific?" I said.

She shook her head, "Not really. I have to finish buying some more groceries so I'll meet up with you two later."

"Sure thing. I'll see you later," I smiled.
