the third time networkly suffered from scandals, it had involvement of two people with the highest positions.
first was nixie and yuta during the photoshoot, his hands firmly placed under her back for assistance. the other had jaehyun and haneul sitting on his car's hood by a parking lot that they thought was empty under the illumination of the sunset.
haneul slowly walked through a narrow passage inside the office that leads to the exit, her eyes glued to her phone screen. she currently was scrolling through the negative comments regarding her in that particular article.

"if you have time to look at that, why not look at my face instead?" jaehyun's figure right in front halted her walk. he took the phone away from her hands with a silly smile. "don't worry too much. let's not let any rumors come between us, okay?"
she replied with nothing but a grin, her cheeks warmly getting tinted with pink. after seconds of simply staring at each other, he grabbed her by the wrist with a silent come on, leading her somewhere.
to be specific, they walked inside the janitor's closet that was wide enough for them to fit with much more space for extra movements.
. . and he locked the door.
oh damn, girlie was so panicked. she started sweating, looking for ways to get out of this situation. "hey, what are you doing? don't you know how short the forty minute break you gave me is because of all the shit you ask me to work on? i wanna eat lunch too, you━"
what interrupted her complaint was his lips suddenly pressing to hers, the strong flavor of coffee concurring with the sweetness of skittles. the messy scenery inside a janitor's closet all seemed to fade away, since the entire moment transferred them to a field of flowers blooming with vibrance, butterflies fluttering all over the place, and so were their hearts.
it all felt so . . celestial.
when both of them pulled away, sheer bliss rained down, and it was totally visible with their current expressions.
but that joy was slightly washed away with fright once they heard the jingling of keys outside. both scurried around, trying their best to act as if they were just checking stuff out. the person who walked inside was shocked to see their prescence.
jaehyun was the first to explain to the custodian, his ears turning red because of the anxiousness. "oh . . hah, good mor━ wait no . . what time━ afternoon! are you working well?"
"uhhhhh, yeah?"
"great! keep it up!"
haneul and jaehyun were quick to walk away from the embarrassing scene, chuckling.

during her lunch break, byul entered yuta's car after a text of indication. they figured that it was the safest place to converse after the scattering of those scadalous bitches with cameras all around the office. they sat beside each other in the backseat.
yuta's eyes were sparkling with unusual awkwardness, his hand rubbing the nape of his neck out of habit. "are you mad at me?"
"why would i be mad at you?"
"because, y'know . . i suddenly have this rumor with nixie in the middle of our agreement and━"
byul shushed him by covering the middle of his lips with her index finger, shooting him a comforting smile. "i'd definitely be mad at you if you let her fall down without caring to lift a finger just to protect your image like the asshole you used to be. don't sweat it.
"and one more thing," she began, running a hand through her hair, "it's the eleventh day of our agreement! what do you say we should do?"
yuta thought for a while, his gaze shifting to a lot of places inside the car. once he finally made his decision, he looked back at her with a wide smile.
