Noah and Lit 3 stood there in shock, yes they had made peoples lives a living hell but never had anyone declared war on THEM. Noah fumed and then had a idea, claiming up onto one of the tables he spoke.

“You all know who we are, who I am. That girl is my enemy, she isn’t one of us and I don’t want her here. The person that gets rid of her can have anything from me that they want, but only if she isn’t here anymore. I don’t care how you do, I just want it done, and I want it done fast.”  Noah stepped down

from the table and the lunch room erupted in mummers and whispers, someone was going to take care of Sam, just not in the way that Noah had in mind.

The next hour for Sam wasn’t too bad, calm but she could feel eyes on her the entire time, something was coming she just didn’t know what. The last bell had rang and Sam made her way out of her last class and into the hall. People knocked into and pushed her into lockers. Damn im going to have bruises later. Sam thought, making her way to the stairs Sam was stopped by a tall boy she had never seen before.

“I'm sorry for doing this but the favor from Noah could change my life forever.” The boy said, Sam just gave him a confused look.

“I know you don’t understand, just know I'm sorry.” The boy roughly seized Sam’s arms and yanked her over to the stairs. Sam struggled and pushed at the boy, yelling for someone to help her, to do something but no one did anything, they just stood there and watched. Watched as the boy dragged Sam to the edge of the stair and shoved her down them. Sam didn’t scream, just closed her eyes and took a deep breath. This wasn’t going to kill her but it was going to hurt really bad.

BAM BAM BAM

Every bone in Sam’s body was in pain. Laying on her side Sam took a deep breath and pain shot down her body in great waves. In that moment Sam gasped and let out a loud moan in pain and rolled over, silent tears threaten to fall. Sam laid there for a long time, until finally someone was there to offer a helping hand. “Sam! Oh my God! Sam! ARE YOU OK?!” It was Jill, the same Jill that left her when she needed a friend, well she was here now. That had to count for something.

News of Sam’s fall spread around Avalon like a wildfire. Lit 3 was coming out of there last and was stopped by the sight of Sam laying injured on the cold school tile.  They didn’t do anything, just stood there with the rest of the school that had gathered around Sam. Jesse was the first one to move. Jesse ran to Sam’s side.

“What the hell happened?!” Jesse asked. Jill just shook her head not knowing what to say. The remaining member of Lit 3 looked around, the boy that had pushed Sam moved forward towards Noah.

“I'm the one that did this, she won’t be coming back after that. You wanted to get rid of her and I did for you. I did it and now I want my favor from you.” The boy was yelling, tears rolling down his cheeks, his eyes red and puffy.

“When I said I wanted rid of her, I wanted her out of the school not hurt! You stupid little fuck! What if she presses chargers or is seriously hurt?! What happens then?! Get out of here now!” The boy took off at a run. Noah looked at Jesse who was perched over a moaning Sam and moved towards her.

“This is my fault Jess, il take responsibility for her man. Il take her to my house and get the doctor to look at her.” Jesse just looked at Noah with empty eyes.

“Noah this isn’t a game she is seriously hurt, you know her, she hates you and you may not be able to buy your way out of this one.”

“Jess I know. I didn’t mean for this to happen. I'm going to patch her up, talk to her and then send her home, nothing more I swear. You have to met Katrina at four you need to get going, don’t worry about it, I have this man.”

Jesse nodded and left with a final look at Sam.

Sam laid on the ground, breathing through her mouth to ease some of the pain that was shooting down the side of her body. She had been hurt before but this was by far the worst that had ever happened to her. Jill had Sam’s head in her lap trying in vain to comfort her. Noah took a deep breath and moved towards Sam. Jill looked up at him with a confused face; she was probably wondering what the hell he was doing.

Noah wasn’t too sure of what he was doing either but he knew if he didn’t do something he was going to be in some serious trouble. Nothing to Sam had ever been this bad before, yes there had been pain, her step dad had made sure of that but never had anything hurt as much as this did. To top it off there wasn’t anyone to comfort her or be there for her this time, she was truly alone, there wasn’t anyone coming to her rescue this time, or was there?

There was Noah and he wasn’t the person Sam wanted to see but he was trying to help her so maybe he wasn’t all bad, maybe, just maybe there was some good in him. Noah walked over to Sam and glanced down at her, for some reason he had the over baring feeling to protect her, to help her, to keep her safe from the rest of the world. Noah had never had this feeling before and he wasn’t liking it too much either, it was like caring for himself but only more. It was caring, and Noah was not a caring person, he looked out for him and him alone.

Noah was pulled from his thoughts by a loud gasp from Sam, if she was really in that much pain there was the possibility that she could sue him, she had a good case. Noah took a deep breath and bent to pick Sam up, there was only one way to handle this, suck it up and apologize, and then maybe she wouldn’t try to cursive him. Noah picked her up and at that moment he realized how small and fragile she really was. Sam after all was still a girl, no matter how tough she acted or what words came out of her mouth she was still a girl.

This girl was unlike any he had ever met before, she didn’t fall for his good looks or money, she did the exact opposite, and she treated him by his actions. In a way Noah couldn’t blame Sam for the way she had been to him, he had been nothing but a playboy who flaunted his money to get what he wanted. For some reason this drew Noah’s attention, Sam was different and Noah wanted to know why.

“What are you doing King Arthur?” Sam asked from the cradle of Noah’s arms.

Noah looked down, “I'm taking you to a doctor princess.”

Sam’s eyes popped open and locked onto Noah’s.

“No you’re not; I can’t go to the doctor right now.” Noah just shook his head and started out of the school. Sam was slowly losing conscience, her mind wasn’t focusing, and it wanted to shut down.

Sam slowly passed out with the image of Noah in her mind, she hoped that he wouldn’t hurt her, today was bad enough, and if anything else happened Sam wouldn’t be able to deal.
