The Door To Happiness (ON HOLD)

Chapter 2

Even though there was silence throughout the classroom and the lecture was as peaceful as any other, there was a different turmoil in every one's mind "who is she?"
"I never thought I'll meet her here" "why the heck is Ray Jacobs like that and does that mean he just saw me? No can't be. Afterall we have every freaking class together." "How does he know Sarah?" Well the thoughts were kept to themselves until....

*After class*

"H-hey you are Sarah Ricard right. I heard the teacher call you that. Bye the way I am Ray Jacobs people tend to call me X-ray not that there is any significance to it or anything sorry I am just rambling now. I was just very surprised to see you you know. I guess you don't remember well how could you have I didn't even talk to you" the puzzled yet anxious faces of Sarah's friends should have given him some hint at what was coming but he was just oblivious to all these and continued. "Actually what happened was that I saw you-". He was cut-off for Sarah stood up so suddenly that every eye was turned to them. "So that's how it was. No wonder I couldn't remember such an extraordinarily irritating existence such as you. Well it doesn't matter anyway. Cause I hate flirts such as yourself who will try to charm any girl with that shameless smile. So let me make it clear. I don't want to have any kind of relation with you except for the present one that is stangers. Please treat me likewise. Adios!" With that she walked away with her friends who were giving Ray sympathetic looks. While everyone was stunned as her warm and considerate image fluttered away in the chill she had now left everyone in. Don't mess with her seemed to be the message echoing in their minds. Of course for everyone except for Ray who though a little taken aback with the dissimilarity between the mouth and appearance was overall unbothered. That was not enough to make him disheartened. I am not a flirt hence not someone she dislikes. And soon she will find out too.

Everyday the first thing that Sarah sees is friendly "Good morning. How are you today." Which is responded in the following order surprise then a scowl followed by a sigh which ultimately ends in her walking away as if the encounter never happened. Yet it happens again the next day with occasional hi and hellos sprinkled all over the day. By being constantly near Sarah, Ray's fanclub had quieted down for news spreads fast Sarah could not be seen as the quiet and shy girl surrounded by cool friends but as the fierce queen who had an invisible sign saying exercise caution whenever near if you don't want to be told off in the most chilling way by this beauty.

Almost a week had passed and not everyone was happy with this arrangement. Sarah for one was happy not getting anyone bothersome except for the who seemed to have made it his duty to get on her nerves. She was content in this bittersweet arrangement of having only one fly annoy her cause it fits with her belief that unless you have one thing you are not happy with, your happiness will be very short-lived. Well bad luck seemed to be enjoying being around her.

Short chapter. I know. I just couldn't do the injustice of making the scene short. I am trying to keep up with weekly releases though. And I would more than psyched if you sent me some filler arc ideas.
