Ivy had woken so suddenly, it scared Harley. She was reading a book on the bed with Ivy still passed out next to her when all of a sudden Ivy jerked up and immediately turned to the side of the bed and threw up, Harley was frozen for a moment watching Ivy throw up off the side of the bed before crawling to her side of the bed and holding her hair back with one hand and rubbing her back with the other. Harley looked down, there was a lot of throw up on the floor, a concerning amount, and what was even more concerning was that the throw up was nearly pitch black. Ivy's shoulders shook violently and she put her hand on her neck taking fast deep breaths that sounded like wheezing.
"Breathe baby." Harley said still rubbing her back, Ivy wiped her mouth and tried to catch her breath, she buried her face in her hands and began crying.
"Hey, hey what's wrong?" Harley asked cupping her face. Ivy sniffled and shut her eyes tight.
"I hurt Kate." She said pressing her hand against her neck, Harley sighed and nodded.
"Ivy maybe we should let Lena run those tests on you."
Ivy's head snapped up, fear written all over her face as she shook her head. She looked down and ran her fingers over the little needle bruises on her arm.
"No, no I don't want to do that." She said squeezing her arm, Harley grabbed her arms and leaned up, kissing her head.
"Why don't you go shower, then we can talk about what's going on in your pretty little head." Harley said kissing her head once more, Ivy nodded and got up from the bed. She walked into the bathroom and closed the door.

The door burst open, startling Kate. She put her hand on her chest and stared at Harley with wide eyes.
"What Quinn?"
"We need to talk." Harley said closing the office door, Kate leaned back in her chair and pointed to the chair in front of her desk, Harley sighed and sat down.
"Lena needs to run tests on Ivy, like soon." Harley said, Kate nodded and threw her pen onto the table before leaning forward.
"Why the change of heart?" Kate asked, Harley pulled a small vile out of her pocket filled with black ooze, she put it down on the table. Kate raised an eyebrow and picked it up, looking at it closely.
"Ivy threw that up, actually she threw up a fucking lot. Like a concerning amount, and obviously the whole beating the shit out of you randomly."
Harley said, Kate looked disgusted for a moment before putting the little vile down on the table.
"Nasty, but you're right I'm glad you're finally thinking about what's best for her." Kate said standing up, she pressed a button on her table before rounding it and walking over to Harley.
In a flash of red and blue Kara was standing in front of them, she had her hands on her hips, looking in between Harley and Kate.
"What's up? Why'd you call?" Kara asked crossing her arms, Harley chuckled and looked at Kara up and down.
"You look very supergirl right now." Harley said, Kara's face turned red and she uncrossed her arms, smiling nervously.
"Shut up." She said playfully. Kate rolled her eyes and grabbed the little vile. She handed it to Kara who looked at it with a disgusted look on her face.
"What's this?"
"Ivy's throw up, can you get Lena to run some tests on it?" Kate asked, Kara nodded and slipped the vile into her pocket.
"You know Lena is going to have to take her blood right?" Kara said, Kara sighed and nodded crossing her arms across her chest.
"Yea, you'll have to help us with that, she'll freak out."
Realization hit Kara hard and she gasped. Kate nodded at Kara and looked over at Harley.
"You want me to hold her down." She said, Harley nodded at her before looking down at her feet. She let out a sigh.
"Listen it breaks my heart to do this but Ivy could die, or kill us." Harley said leaning against the desk, Kara ran her fingers through her hair sighed.
"I'm worried that the holding her down will freak her out more than the needle."
"I know but we have no choice." Kate said. Kara nodded and looked down at the vile, she looked back up at the two.
"I'll get Lena, we can do this in the med cabin."
"Thank you Kara." Kate said before Kara left, Harley stood up straight and reached for the door.
"I'll get Ivy."
"Good."

"Let me go!"
Kara slammed the her onto the metal table. Ivy thrashed around trying to get out of Kara's grip, Kara felt guilty, Ivy sat up a bit juts to be slammed back onto the table. Ivy groaned, taking rapid deep breaths. Kara winced noticing how hard she slammed Ivy down.
"I'm sorry Ivy, please calm down I don't want to hurt you." Kara said releasing her grip on Ivy. Lena reached out to grab Ivy's arm with the needle in hand.
"Don't fucking touch me Lena!" Ivy screamed, moving her arm away quickly. She raised her hand and a vine appeared grabbing Lena's wrist tightly, thorns forming cutting into her skin.
Lena winced and dropped the needle on the table, Kara panicked, she used her hear vision and burned the plants before turning to Ivy and grabbing her by the throat, pinning her to the table. Ivy let out a pained groan and slapped at Kara's arm, making a choking sound as she clawed at Kara's arm
"Kara!" Harley screamed storming over and banging her fists into Kara's back. Kate grabbed Kara's arm and tried to get her off of Ivy.
"Babe it's okay I'm fine." Lena said grabbing the needle again, Kara kept Ivy pinned to the table and grabbed Ivy's arm, She gave lena a quick nod.
"Do it quick, and let go of her fucking neck." Kate said, Kara let go of Ivy's neck and put her hand on ivy's chest, keeping her down on the table. Lena stuck the needle in Ivy's arm, she winched and tried to move her arm.
"Baby I'm sorry, I'm sorry but we need to do this." Harley said holding her other hand. Ivy shook her head, looking away from Harley and closing her eyes.

Kara walked into the office quickly, closing the door behind her. Kate was reading a letter, her eyes shiny with tears.
"What's wrong?" Kara asked, Kate wiped her eyes and set the letter down on the table.
"Maggie, she's coming to visit for the week. She's doing a story on the base." She said smiling at the letter, she looked up at kara and her face fell.
"So, why'd you call me here?" Kara asked nervously, Kate stood up and walked over to Kara with an angry expression on her face.
"You know, once I saw you throw a tank at someone." Kate said running her hand up Kara's arm. Kara gave her a weird look and chuckled nervously.
"Yea?"
"Yea, and another time I saw you throw an entire building at someone. You're pretty strong Danvers." Kate said, Kara started feeling light headed. She felt her body heat up as Kate circled around her, putting her hand on the back of Kara's head.
"What's this about?" Kara asked, Kate grabbed a handful of Kara hair and slammed her head into her desk. A loud crack filled the air and Kara groaned, her nose spilling blood. Kate leaned down close to her ear.
"If you touch my daughter like that again, I'll fucking kill you." Kate said, Kara looked up at her and stumbled back holding her nose. She noticed a glowing green ring on her finger.
""Understood?" Kate asked taking the ring off of her finger, she slipped the ring into a box and into her desk, Kara nodded slowly before running out of the office.
