Once my brother dropped me off at the front of the school, I just stood there and got a little nervous. I wasn't nervous because of Harry, I was nervous about how everybody was going to react. What if everybody was already in there killing each other trying to find out his schedule. What if he's already there and all of the girls are attacking him? That would be terrible. I don't want to deal with that... I finally found the courage to walk into the school and carefully make my way to my locker.

"Nicole! Are you excited? I'm so excited! What if I have a class with him? I might die. I already died a little last night because it finally hit me! This is amazing! I'm gonna cry! I can't even talk anymore!" This is how I got greeted. My friend Macenzie was definitely a big fan. She's actually the reason I'm a fan. She showed me all of One Direction's video diaries and all of the X factor videos and episodes. They really were amazing but it just doesn't feel right thinking that now that Harry is my classmate.

"Good morning Macenzie. Don't cry, you'll scare him away. What if he walks up to you and you're just standing there shaking and crying? Unless he's into that..." Just as I finished talking, my other friend, Lizzie, literally jumped on my back. She finally got off and started squealing with Macenzie while staring at me. "Guys, you need to calm down" I started laughing at how crazy they were and looked "but this IS entertaining."

Lizzie finally stopped bouncing and put her hands on her hips "you know you want to freak out too. You're almost as big of a fan as we are. Just let it out." So I squealed.

"I'm just trying to get over it. We're going to have to at some point anyways. I don't want him to think I'm completely crazy." I looked at my phone to check the time and gasped. "We have 3 minutes to get to class. I have to go to history and I can't be late. Bye!" They both waved at me and we went our separate ways.

As soon as I walked through the door, all of the girls, and some curious guys, looked over at me hoping to see Harry probably. Nope, just me. I took my seat and waved to a few people that I talked to in that class.

"No, nobody has seen him! What if it was a joke? That's not ok!" I turned around in my seat to face Chrissy. I guess you could say we're kind of friends.

"What's a joke?" I asked curiously.

"Harry coming to our school. I'm just saying, what if it was? Unless he's sick on his first day." Just then there was a knock on the door and my teacher strolls over and swings it open with a huge grin.

"Hi I'm Harry. The new student." My eyes drifted to him and I just stared. Maybe I should stop.

"Of course, just have a seat at any empty desk." My teacher closed the door and I scanned the room to find the empty desk be would probably sit at. Then I noticed the only one and what a coincidence, it was right next to me. I quickly looked down at my desk and opened the page we were supposed to be reading.

Harry walks over to his desk and sits down. I hear a tap and realize it's him tapping on my desk. I look up at him and melt a little because of his bright green eyes. "Do you have a pencil?" That's the first thing he says to me. I try not to laugh but a giggle slips out. "What? Wait, I'm confused. Did I say something wrong?" I notice some girl glaring at me but I ignore her.

"No, it's just that it's your first day and you already forgot something" I pull out a pencil from my bag and had it to him. "Here, it's pink. Enjoy" I giggle again.

"Oh, oops. Thanks, I'll try to enjoy it" he chuckles. "What's your name?"

I smile because he actually wants to know my name. "Nicole" I whisper because I can already see my teacher giving me the 'stop talking look'.

"Thanks Nicole. My names Harry, just in case. Now I made a friend and you can help me get around. This school is so confusing."

"Oh so we're friends then."

"Yeah!" He almost shouts.

"Shh, you're going to get me in trouble. By the way, you don't need a pencil, you just have to read." I look over at him playing with my pencil's eraser.

"Oh sorry. I know I don't, I just needed a buddy because like I said, this school is confusing." So the pencil was an ice breaker. I admit, that was extremely adorable. Macenzie and Lizzie would probably both be on the floor rolling around by now.

"Smooth. Well, I guess I could help you out. Unless all of these girls kill me." A soon as I say that, he looks around the room and notices that everybody was looking at us.

"I didn't even notice. You don't have to if you don't want to. I could find somebody--"

"No, no. It's fine. I really don't mind. Want to give me your schedule so I can see what you have?" I cut him off and he hands me his schedule. No way. "So we basically have the same schedule, except for two classes, one on each day.

"I picked the perfect buddy then!" He says with a smile. More like a smirk that he does when he's getting his picture taken. Again, Macenzie and Lizzie would be on the floor right now.

"I guess so. Good job." I smile and look back down at my textbook which was still open to what I was supposed to keep reading.

"Well thanks buddy." He answers and we finally decide into read.
