The first week of my mission at Hogwarts was quite uneventful. Just classes, meals, sleep, and repeat. I guess one good thing about having a quiet week is that I could start forming more meaningful relationships with my roommates. I have also managed to explore the castle. Finding many secret passageways. Including the one that I saw on my first day. The one-eyed witch trail to the nearby village. This weekend I am going to use it for the first time.
"Morning Bella! Are you excited about our first Hogsmead visit tomorrow?" Matilda eagerly asks. One thing I didn't count on when starting here was how clingy friends got. She wanted friends yes, but not ones that are joint to her by the hip.
"Oh no, I can't Matilda, I don't have permission from the ministry," I say sadly.
"I almost forgot that you are technically a war criminal." Walburga giggles to my left. She was the vapidest, blood supremacist I have ever met, she has the littlest moral compass which is evident in the way she treats the filthy mud bloods.
"Yes, a war criminal I am. But that aside, I do have a plan. I'll be there, you just won't see me." I smile slyly at them. As much as I am meant to stay in the castle, there are always ways around it. They aren't tracking me. They are tracking my wand. So, I before I escape the castle, I will take one from a second year that I have been watching. I look to the other end of the hall and see Myrtle Warren, already crying at the breakfast table. It won't be long until she heads to the bathroom to cry for the rest of the day.
"You're always scheming aren't you Grindlewald." Orion smirks at me. I just give him a questioning look back, before looking at the Ravenclaw table to see Myrtle run out of the great hall. I take that as my leave, I give the three another smirk and get up from my seat. I quickly follow after the young girl making sure that I am not seen by professors or students alike.
I enter the second-floor bathroom, I pretend to fix my hair and wash my hands, I wait for the other girls to leave the bathroom and head for the first classes of the day. As soon as I see them go I pull my wand out and kick open Myrtle's stall door.
"What. What are you doing?" She whimpers at me.
"Oh, I just need to borrow your wand, I trust you won't need it this weekend." I grin at her, she just whimpers more. My wand is pointed at her neck. "Petrificus Totalus" I make sure the spell will bind her for the weekend. Now I just need to find a way to stash her body till I am ready to return her wand.
I remember what my father told me about Hogwarts and the fact that the chamber of secrets should technically be found in this bathroom. I hiss out the parseltongue word for 'reveal'. The marble sinks start to open and a passageway is created through the drains. I use the levitating spell and put her right in the entranceway before closing the passage.

Before I know it classes for the day over at its time to attend the slug club. I rush to my dormitory and shower quickly before heading to my trunk. I'm unsure what to wear so start tugging all of my semi-decent dresses out and onto the floor. I settle for an emerald green form-fitting dress that reaches just below the knee, with no straps.
"Oh wow! Isabella, you look absolutely beautiful. Everyone at that dinner tonight is going to be in awe of you." Walburga enters the room. She walks over to me and starts fluffing up my hair and curling it.
"Thank you Walburga. But I really must be going. Is anyone else from Slytherin invited?" I ask. It would be better if I walk up with other students so I don't look as much as an outsider.
"If you leave now you could leave with Tom and Abraxas. Quickly I'll introduce you." She pulls my hand and she takes me up the stairs and back to the common room. "Tom! Abraxas! Wait up! Do you mind escorting my dear friend Isabella to the party tonight?" She asks, dropping my hand and giving them a begging smile.
"Why, of course, we wouldn't mind. Quickly now we wouldn't want to be late." Tom opens the door and gestures for me to the follow the two of them.
The walk to Slughorns homeroom is in silence with only the small murmurs from the two boys. Abraxas reaches the office before knocking on the door.
"Oh my dear Slytherin students. Do come in, I was wondering if you got lost in the corridors." The potions professor motions us to come in and sit in the three remaining seats. Directly next to him.
"We do apologize professor. But nothing like a grand entrance. After you Grindlewald." Malfoy pulls out the middle chair for me to sit in between the two of them.
Slughorn clicks his fingers and a grand feast appears in front of us. Once again, I only take what I will need to survive. Slughorn starts multiple conversations with other members in the room. Trying to find high society connections. Once he has cycled through everyone in the room he turns his head to me.
"And, perhaps, our most famous member of Slug Club. So Miss Grindlewald. Tell me more about your life?"
"Sorry professor, I'm afraid most of my life before a week ago is highly classified. I hope you understand" I say, which is somewhat the truth.
He nods his understanding but doesn't stop his line of questioning. "Surely you can at least tell us who your mother is. No-one seems to know."
"Not even me professor. All I know is my father used a potion on a powerful witch to have me conceived." I smile sadly. "I have put the ways of my father behind me."
With an understandable nod he finishes questioning me and waves his hands and the table is cleared. He indicates for us to talk amongst ourselves. I stay in the back room observing. Each person in this room is highly connected. If I could use these people as recruits to help me with the greater good. I'll start with the Slytherins the two boys that escorted me here. Riddle and Malfoy. But maybe the girls in my dorm first. They seem to know the boys and they trust them. Yes, they will be first.
