[Reader's POV]

"I'm sorry... I'm so...so...sorry..." Hajime said between sobs. I stroked his hair trying to reassure him.

"It's okay...I forgive you...." I said slowly. He letted go of me, so now his face was near mine.

"Can..." He looked to the side and blushed a bit. "Can you...kiss me...?" He asked shyly.

And just like that, I gave another kiss to him. Not the kind of kiss like earlier, but a kiss of hope. Of love. He blushed at the sudden response, but he started to kiss back.

He rapped his arms around my waist and I rapped mine around his chest. We continued this for a bit until he pulled from my mouth.

We both breathed heavily, before Hajime hugged me again.

"I enjoyed that (Y/N)...." He said softly.

"I guess I did too." I giggled, blushing. It was as if we both had forgotten that four of our friends had died.

The monitor flickered on, interrupting the moment.

"Everyone! I forgot to announce back at tbe trial! The traitor is still among you all, and is now planning to backstab everyone! Make sure to keep you doors locked tonight because it seems someone is very violent right now!" Monokuma said, before the monitor turned off.

The traitor.....huh? Is he trying to frame me? Or is he trying to make everyone suspicious of each other...

Hajime let go of the hug and looked at me a bit more seriously. "(Y/N)...It seems that it's not safe if you're alone...Do you want to stay in my room overnight?" He asked.

I widened my eyes in surprise. "No! No! There's no need to do that.... I don't want to bother you!" I waved my hands.

He then grabbed my hands and moved his face closer to mines. "I won't mind..."

I blushed at his actions. "O-O-Okay.." I stuttered in embarrassment.

He let go of me, and we both walked to his room.

Once we entered his room, he locked the door.

"You alright (Y/N)?" He asked. I nodded.

"Do you have any cool things or gadgets? I wanna stay up the whole night." I explained. He looked at me in surprise.

"The whole night? Wouldn't you be exhausted tomorrow?" He said concerned.

"Well I suppose..." I scratched my head. I forgot....The fourth island will be unlocked and the others would go and check it out. I guess I could pretend to explore? "I'm sure I'll be fine."

He nodded. "Well, I have a gaming console I got from the Supermarket." He pulled out the console and turned it on.

The console switched on, but the screen was black and it made some glitching noises.

"But the thing is, Kazuichi started to take it apart and put it back together....And now it no longer wo-" He explained. But immediately, I snatched it from his hands.

I started to examine it, tested the volume and see if the buttons would change the screen, but it stayed black.

"Do you have a small screwdriver and some wires?" I asked Hajime.

"U-Uh y-yeah!" He said, and handed me the items.

I placed everything on his bed to act like it's a desk, since surprisingly he doesn't have one. I kneeled on the floor and started to take apart the console.
