I drew that pic above. I tried.

-PENELOPES POV-

"What class do you have first. I have Potions with the Hufflepuffs.", I said slinging the strap of my bag on my right shoulder, ready for the day and with plenty of stares for my little stunt yesterday.

"Oh, I and Aria have a History of magic. And Aria needed some help with her homework so we are gonna skip breakfast. You can run ahead.", Wanda said shoving quills and parchment in her sullen brown bag.

"Oh well, see you both later."

<><><><><<><><> time skip brought to u by dracos luscious locks><><><<<><><><

I'm starving. I stood outside the gate of the great hall, taking deep breaths. Ready to face the consequences of yesterday's stunt.
Here goes nothing. I breathed heavily, as I walked into the Great Hall.

I tried my best to ignore the stares and sat at the end of the HUFFLEPUFF table. I took out a Muggle book "the book thief" and began reading while savoring my pancakes.

After breakfast, I made my way towards the potions class. Has walking alone always been this awkward.

I halted in my steps when I heard my name. I looked around to see the source.
I noticed Snape, Malfoy, and Crouch standing together.
I tried to eavesdrop on their conversation.

Crouch and Malfoy were laughing at something while Snape had a sour look.

" How kind," Malfoy said in a sickly sweet voice.

" Severus Snapes' dignity saved by a mudblood" crouch sniggered.

Snape mumbled something inaudible under his breath.

" Severus Snape can't fight for himself. He needs his 'knight in the shining armor' in form of a HUFFLEPUFF mudblood" crouch and Malfoy roared with laughter while Snape was going red.

" Shame. Such a shame." Malfoy said in a mocking tone.

" I. DON'T. NEED. A. MUDBLOOD. TO. HELP. ME! SHUT UP YOU TWO!" Snape bellowed.

I flinched at his tone.

" JUST STOP TALKING ABOUT THAT FILTHY MUDBLOOD!"

Ok, now that hurt.

" You do realize that she's right behind you?" Malfoy smirked pointing at me.

Snape turned around with horror and guilt covering his face.

"Clearwa-" he started
"Save it, Snape. Save it." I said with teary eyes and a shaky voice.

Oh Jesus, why am I so weak. Reckon I shouldn't have helped him after all.

I quickly wiped my eyes and made my way towards the potions classroom. Breathe. Act natural and unaffected by his words. Why am I so dramatic.

I sighed and grabbed a seat with my books out, ready to take notes.

- JAMES POV-

I watched Clearwater running off to the potions classroom.

I'll kill Snape I swear. I scowled.

"Hey, prongs. What's wrong ?" Sirius said clasping my shoulder and gently shaking it.

" Did you not see?" I asked raising an eyebrow at him.

"See what? "

I opened my mouth to tell him about it. But Remus beat me to it.

" Snape called Clearwater a filthy mudblood. She bloody helped him yesterday."

"I'll kill that PATHETIC excuse for a wizard" Sirius shouted cracking his knuckles.

Before Sirius and I could do anything, a loud sound echoed through the dungeon followed by a few gasps.

We turned our heads only to see lily with her hand raised, and face equally red as her hair, with Snape's ass down on the ground.

" Don't you dare use that word for Penelope! I hate you! From the core of my heart! She fucking helped you sev! Instead of being thankful, this is what you do! Either you apologize to her. Or don't ever try to talk to me!" Lily screamed at his face. And stormed off to the potions classroom.

"Who knew she had it in her" Sirius whispered to me. I closed his mouth, which I had involuntarily opened.

Snape didn't dare move from the ground, one hand holding his now swollen cheek while the other supporting himself.
He looked..... Guilty?
Wow. That's new.

" Come on we're 10 minutes late into potions," Remus said.

We all followed him like obedient kids.
