I stay out too late

Got nothing in my brain

That's what people say, mmm-mmm

That's what people say, mmm-mmm

I go on too many dates [chuckle]

But I can't make them stay

At least that's what people say, mmm-mmm

That's what people say, mmm-mmm

But I keep cruising

Can't stop, won't stop moving

It's like I got this music

In my mind

Saying, "It's gonna be alright."

'Cause the players gonna play, play, play, play, play

And the haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate

Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake

I shake it off, I shake it off

Heart-breakers gonna break, break, break, break, break

And the fakers gonna fake, fake, fake, fake, fake

Baby, I'm just gonna shake, shake, shake, shake, shake

I shake it off, I shake it off

Jennifer Hudson's Point of View

I was walking down aisle twenty- one, searching for a new box of garbage bags.

I walked passed the napkins, the paper plates, the foil....

Finally, I came across a box of 56 bags, and tossed it in the cart. I looked at the list that I'd wrote last night, and scanned it for nearby items.

Butter.

I walked out of the aisle, pushing my stuffed cart.

On the top, you could see the boxes of Frosted Flakes and packs of Ticonderoga pencils.

"It's crazy how fast DJ goes through school supplies..." I said to David just yesterday. "Do you know how much stuff I bought him when the school year started? Where is it now?"

He just laughed at me as I paced back and forth in our living room.

I was making our grocery list, and I haven't laid down in two days. I'm surprised I was able to dress myself this morning.

Just as those thoughts came through my head, I collided with another cart. The man behind it just looked up at me, apologizing. His wife, on the other hand... not so much.

She started screaming and yelling, and I could see a bulge under her shirt. Oh, it all makes sense, now.

She was pregnant, but just had a little baby bump. She was pretty, with long hair and a skinny, yet hour-glass figure.

The hormones must be crazy hard on him. I remember when I was pregnant with Jr...

"Hey!" she yelled at me. "Do you not hear me?!"

"Um, I was ignoring you before I did something that I'd regret." I said, pointing to her stomach.

But, she must not have noticed my finger, because she kept going.
