Kayla- "I have already made my decision, I chose the good."

Artemis- "good, but remember this, light is not always good, as well as dark isn't always bad. And the day is always good as the night isn't always bad."

The goddess sighs and cups my face in her hands, starring in my eyes intently. Her eyes fog over and her crescent marking glows a bright light.

Artemis- "goodbye Kayla. Remember what I told you, this is not the last you will see of me."

That was the last of what I saw before I fell in the black void, darkness consuming me.

I woke up in a medical bed. The memories of what happened before I passed out, shot into my head. Alexandrea, the fight, her falling, me saving her, everyone looking at me like am the Statue of Liberty and I am alive and moving, then me passing out.

The room was dark, the door was closed and only the hall lights were on. Wow. How many times am I going to be in the school clinic. Like seriously, first it was the marking and now this. Like, what the hell.

I pulled out the IV needle and took out my breathing mask. The room was quiet. I got out of bed, and walked to the door and opened It. Outside, was a couple doctors and a few nurses. And as soon as one saw me, they came up to me.

Doctor- "what are you doing out of bed? You need to rest, and especially after the major energy use earlier today." He scolded me.

Kayla- "ok. Okay. Jeez. I'm going back." I walk back into my room, but don't go to bed.

I sit on the little window seat and look out at the moon. Watching the stars and moon before falling asleep.

"When do you think she will wake up" I hear someone mutter. They woke me up, but I didn't show it.

"Is she even alive?" I heard another voice. And something poke my face. I decided this is one I should make my presence known.

Kayla- "No shit, Sherlock, of course I'm livin'. " and I open my eyes.

There in the room is Lily, Sophia, and Matt in front and besides me. The boys behind them or leaning against the wall.

I laugh softly at their shocked faces.

Kayla- "bruh? Stop looking at me like that, I'm not dead" I say nonchalantly.

But they continue to stare at me. Till Carter decides to break the ice.

Carter- "I think you should get a mirror."

I look at him questionably,

Kayla- "Why exactly?"

Lily- "Kayla. Look at your eyes" I look at her and stare into her eyes. And she gasps and pulls her hand to her mouth as I do.

I stand up and walk to the square head big mirror on the wall. I gasp as well. My eyes, it's well.

They are sliver

'My child I have given you the gift of my eyes and ears. Use this and your other powers to your advantage.' A voice rang in my head. I knew it was the moon goddess. That explains how my eyes look the same color as hers.

I back away from the mirror and look at my friends. I explain to them why my eyes are sliver and what had happened in my meet with the Moon Goddess Artemis. The meadow, the woods, the lake and waterfall, Artemis standing before me, the rouges plans and the war.

Matt- "this is good that we have a connection to the moon goddess."

Cameron- "yea, and now we have you on our side, we will win against the rouges"
