Shouto Todoroki x Reader: Not A Monster

This is a request by Alyssajj11mention a user I hope I did well.

Quirk: Ghoul
Gives them ghoul like characteristics (like the characters from Tokyo ghoul) for example, tendrils which come from their back, increased physical stats and healing rate, as well as different coloured eyes when 'transformed'.
Downside is, the user finds it difficult to control their actions in this state.

~Flashback~

The area where you lived was usually quiet. There weren't many children like yourself around that would cause a lot of noise, not that their families would allow it anyway. This day however was different. Not for you, but for the others on the street.

"What idiot would let a psycho like you live, huh? Or are your parents just as crazy as you are?" A boy taunted as he shoved you to the ground. You were both only young, but have lived in the same neighbourhood for a while, and things usually went like this.

You saw the boy bring his foot back, and closed your eyes, expecting a kick...

But it never came.

You opened your eyes to see a young boy, about your age, standing in front of you, and the boy in front of him didn't move a muscle. You looked at the two before the boy with bi-coloured hair turned to face you, kneeling in front of you. "Are you okay? You look hurt.. Do you need help?" He questioned. The boy had adorable heterochromatic eyes.

"I-im fine.." You said. Your own eyes, which you didn't even realised had started to change to their red and black state, returned to normal as you stood to your feet.

"She's a monster, why are you protecting her?" The other boy asked, and the one who'd helped you out glared at him before gently taking your hand and leaving.

"Which house is yours? I'll take you home. Oh, I'm Shouto Todoroki by the way." The boy said, looking at you with a bright smile. You smiled a little in response.
