Does anybody ever just think, "Hey. Magisterium characters have Southern accents"?
No?
Well, they do. Call lives in Asheville, North Carolina, Tamara lives in Washington D.C, Virginia, and Aaron lives in Virginia (?). And they all go to the Magisterium, which is in Luray, Virginia.
I've just messed y'all up.
Next time you read Magisterium you better hear it all in Southern accents.
