Reincarnation of the Empress

Prologue l:

Once there was a princess who lived in the Crownell Kingdom and her name is Princess Beatrice Ishtar Crownell who is loved by her people and is considered to be the light of the empire.

The current Empress Layla Via Crownell didn't give birth  to any male heir so the Empire only has princesses. Having no male heir to the throne the King and Queen choose Princess Beatrice as the Crown Princess.

Being the chosen Crown Princess, Beatrice received countless engagement letters from the Nobles. Guys left and right are trying to court her in the sole purpose of being the next Emperor to the Kingdom.

But there are also people who are envious of her such as the 2nd Princess Dalena who is plotting against her.

When her carriage was ambushed she was saved by a group of Knights who is lead by Frederick Dunn Volderick.

That moment when Frederick blocked the sword who was about to pierce through her was engraved into Beatrice's heart. And from that moment their love started to blossom.

Sooner they became lovers which of course many opposed to because Frederick is nothing but a commoner but Beatrice fought for their love. Subduing also the corrupt and evil nobles thanks to the help of Frederick.

Beatrice help Frederick build his status in the common people and also earning the respect of the Nobles, that's why in the crowning of the new Emperor and the Empress it was welcomed by the Kingdom with open arms.

She thought that meeting Frederick who is not after her because of her beauty and title as the crown princess is the best thing that has ever happened to her.

After a few years of reign and being loved so much by her husband. Things started to change.

She would wonder why her husband make love to her relentlessly every night and would leave after she passes out.

Later that night after they made love and she pretended to pass out she followed her husband, curious as to where he would go.

She observed Frederick from a distance, being careful not to get noticed. Frederick seemed overly cautious, stopping after a bit of a walk looking left and right before continuing his walk.

She soons find him walking to her 2nd sister's chamber and what they talked about made her knee's fell weak.

" When are you going to get rid of her? " says an annoyed voice who soon she recognized to be coming from Layla her 2nd sister.

" My love, it will be soon. I am just using her up and after I finally got tired of her, I will eliminate her myself and make you the new Empress of this Kingdom. " saying Frederick in a loving manner coating how evil his intentions are.

Beatrice didn't know how to react to what she has heard. Her sister is the one who assisted her the most into making their parents agree to Frederick and also hush the nobles who dare scrutinized their relationship.

She didn't know that its her own sister who will plot against her.

Soon she heard gasps and moans coming from the room where her first love and husband is in with her sister who she considered to be also her best friend. This broke not just her heart but her soul as well from the immeasurable pain she felt due to their betrayal.
