I was in a bad place when you came into my life.
I had a broken heart and slowly you fixed it.
You made me smile again you made me laugh.
I fell in love even when I told myself I shouldn't.
I should have listened to my brain and not my heart.
Here I am once again with a broken heart,
Even after you promised you'd never break it.
I did all I could to make you happy, I guess it wasn't enough.
I guess I wasn't enough.
Maybe the next one will be, I hope she makes you happy.
Like you were once happy with me.
I hope my broken heart gets fixed.
Now it's time to be alone, to work on me, to fix me.
To fix this broken heart, now to cry and let it all out.
My tears now run down my face.
But like a phoenix I burned and I'll rise from the ashes.
Maybe stronger than before. Time to heal this broken heart.
