Friday night came faster than Y/N would have wanted... Though JJ was thankful for it. He had been close multiple times to going over to Topper's house and beating the shit out of him. No one hurts his mate... Especially not Y/N. He had only known her four days and was already head over heels for her.
"I don't deserve you..." JJ whispered when he thought that Y/N was asleep Thursday night as they laid on the beach staring at the sky.
"J," Y/N whispered moving so that she could stare at him in the darkness. "Don't say that-"
"It's true... You're a Kook you should be with another rich man who can give you everything in your wildest dreams... Who won't get into wars, and fights every god damn week and isn't littered in-"
"Scars show what you've been through, we all have them and if you think that I'm going to judge you for them then you don't know me,"
"Omega... I'm sorry-"
"No!" She exclaimed suddenly standing up in the sand, she turned the flashlight on her phone and began to take off her clothes.
"What I'm saying is that you deserve more than me... You don't need to show me whatever you're trying to-"
"Well obviously the wolf Gods think that you're my alpha, it's been what five days! Five days and you've shown me more love than my entire family!"
"Y/N you don't need to strip for me... Swimming at night is one thing but I haven't been hanging out with you for your..." Suddenly his words got caught up in his throat at the sight of her in her bikini.
She was more beautiful than her shadow portrayed her to be... More beautiful than he had ever imagined. She had a couple of old scars and some bruises that made rage seep deep within him.
"And you expect me not to kill Topper tomorrow... After what he did to you my beautiful Lil' omega?"
"I'm your omega now? What happened to you not being good enough for me?" She questioned taking the hem of his shirt and pulling it over his head.
"I'm not," He mumbled through shame avoiding her gaze.
"Yes, you are alpha what do you not understand about that?" She questioned through a sigh. "You've given hope to all of these people..."
"Lil' omega I can't believe I'm lucky enough to have you," JJ whispered, placing an arm under her legs, and the other under her back and lifting her up as she giggled.
She placed her arms around his neck, as she beamed a smile. "It's been five days... Are we crazy?"
"Maybe," JJ laughed, swinging her around in his arms as he began to walk into the water. Then finally once he was deep enough he threw Y/N in, causing her to almost let out a scream.
However, after what felt like a minute of her not coming out of the water JJ became concerned. He was just about to dive in when he felt someone yank his foot and pull him under.
"That's what you get!" Y/N exclaimed as JJ emerged from the water and began to splash her.
"It's on Lil' omega," He reassured through a smirk and that's when a water war began... Though a water war could only last so long before a real war began.
Friday came quicker than any of them would have wanted... JJ was tired the next day from hanging out with Y/N all the nights before. She was his weakness no doubt and he simply couldn't get enough of her... It was hard not seeing her for the whole day.
"What's got you all anxious?" John B questioned placing a firm hand on JJ's shoulder.
"I want the Pogues to be safe... A lot of people trust me to do what they can't,"
"If this is becoming too much for you J you don't have to do this... You never had to do this-"
"I have to... I have to help, the Pogues are my family and they believe in me... If I leave now things will never be made right,"
"He's right John B," Sarah whispered coming up by his side.
"We won't let you down JJ... Us and the others will be right by your side," Kiara reassured through a wide grin. "The Kooks won't be getting anything from us without a fight,"
And that's how it became the Pogues, facing the Kooks in an open field by the water. The breeze hit JJ like a brick to the face, as all he could think about was the ass-kicking he was about to give Topper. The rules of being part wolf were simple, form a pack or join one and defend your territory and work for anything else you need. Though defending territory became difficult when there were humans that wanted wolves dead, and wolves that simply just wanted more power.
"Seems like fewer Pogues than the last time," Topper laughed, glancing JJ up and down.
"Well unlike your people mine actually have to make a living," This only caused Topper to become angry as he was just about to start the war however another car pulled up and parked by the others... And none other than Y/N got out.
"Y/N..." Topper hissed glancing her way. "I told you not to-" Suddenly before he could finish his sentence JJ was pouncing on him.
Though before the blonde could get out a good punch Topper flipped them over so that he was on top... And this time he was getting good punches out. Though JJ used all of his strength to push Topper off of him and pounded him into the ground. As Topper laid there JJ quickly saved John B from Barry who was beating the hell out of him. He saved a lot of his Pogues until he saw that Topper was gone and that's when someone grabbed the back of his shirt.
Topper then pointed a gun at JJ causing everyone around them to quickly realize what the hell was going on. That's when the blue-eyed man realized that it was his gun from his pocket holy shi-
"Topper put the gun down," JJ mumbled, putting his hands up in defense as John B quickly came up to his side only to get the gun pointed at him as JJ quickly stepped in front. "You don't want to do this,"
"You Pogues steal everything and do whatever in the hell you want and I'm sick of it," Suddenly Topper shot the gun as JJ braced for impact though it never came as he opened his eyes and saw that he had only shot it in the air. That's when Topper tackled him to the ground and began beating him over and over again.
"Stop!" Someone exclaimed coming into view. "Topper this isn't you," Suddenly Topper glanced up from JJ blood covering his teeth.
"I told you to leave Y/N," He snapped only to then have JJ push him off.
"The fights over!" John B exclaimed to everyone as Sarah came by his side and wrapped her arms around his as Topper and JJ both got off the ground.
"This... This isn't over," Topper threatened spitting blood next to JJ's shoes. He walked past his sister and gave her a look as she followed behind him never saying a word. Though a couple of seconds later she glanced back at the Pogues and gave them a look of sympathy.
Pope was already by JJ's side asking him questions and examining his wound. "You might need stitches," Kiara mumbled, examining JJ's face as they got to John B's house. The first thing JJ did was go inside and grab a beer.
"I'm fine,"
"JJ you are not fine... Sit rest we can take care of-"
"I need some air," And before any of them could object that's when JJ went outside through a slamming of the door.
The sun was setting by the time JJ made it to the open field where the shit had been kicked out of him. He sat there for hours staring at the grass and savoring every last sip of his beer. Though it was long empty by the time Y/N had gotten there.
"I knew I'd find you here," Y/N whispered, rolling her window down. "Get in J,"
"I'm no alpha... I'm a failure to you omega,"
"No you're not, now get in the damn car before I drag you in," That's when suddenly he was in her car and things went silent until they arrived at her house.
"I can't be here," He whispered as he sunk into his seat.
"Relax everyone is either asleep or out partying," She reassured by jumping out of the car and going to his side and opening it for him.
JJ stumbled out, dizzy from blood loss and being drunk. That's when suddenly Y/N told him that he had to climb a tree to get to her bedroom window. He was fucking tired as hell, and couldn't think straight. Though if that's what his mate wanted then he sure as hell was going to do it.
"Don't fall... And hurry up," It was pitch black by the time he made it to her bedroom window, he almost fell causing Y/N to scream. As she began to climb after her mate through laughs. Finally, he tumbled inside her room, landing face-first into her carpet where he laid for a while until he could feel Y/N's fingers running through his hair.
"Are you alright alpha," He gave a thumbs up, though right as he flipped himself over she gasped at what she saw.
"You need to be fixed up," Y/N whispered, dragging him up by the arm against his constant groans.
"No omega,"
"J you look like you went head to head against a brick,"
That's how he became hunched over on her toilet seat as she began to work on his face, and clean him up. Finally, after she glanced at him once , putting the last bandage on, he laid a hand on top of hers that was resting on his face.
"You shouldn't risk yourself like that..."
"I do it for the people I love... I'd do it for you Y/N,"
"Well, I don't like it... You don't deserve it alpha,"
"You're the best thing to ever happen to me Lil' omega... And I'll be damned if I let anything happen to you," He reassured his stern voice as Y/N smiled.
"You're the best thing to ever happen to me too," And that's when their lips were connected.
