"I'm back, babe," the dark figure came into the light, revealing his sunglasses and...coffee? "You'll never believe this, De De. I think I found your prince."
"Horrible job, Remy..." A scratchy voice lied further in the darkened cave. Few torches were placed inside due to De De's, or Deceit's, sensitive eyes. He was cursed by a witch from being a manipulative, deceitful snake. Now, half his face showed this trait, impossible to hide from other's view, and he was cursed to speak in all lies.
"So whatcha gonna do now?" Remy noisily sipped from his coffee.
Deceit chuckled, a low rumbling sound that could've been mistaken for growling. "I'm going to do everything. You aren't going to bring this prince to me..." Each 's' sound hissed on his tongue, another part of the curse brought upon him.
"Whatevs hon," Remy took another irritatingly loud sip. "You owe me Starbies after this."
Deceit rolled his eyes, sighing. All Remy wanted was Starbies, no riches, or power. Just Starbucks coffee. But he wouldn't blame him though, their coffee was pretty delicious.
"No," he growled. "Don't bring me this prince. If he isn't the one, I am not one step closer to the boy in the moon. We need him dead, so I do care if he's broken, emotionally or physically."
"So what's up with this 'boy in the moon' thing. You've never explained it to me, babes." Remy asked.
"He hasn't been in the moon for ages now, filling himself with moonlight," Remy choked on the coffee he just swallowed. "You're not a mage, you can't figure the rest out yourself."
"M-Moonlight?!" Remy tilted his sunglasses down, looking at Deceit with wide eyes. "A boy is being filled with the rarest and hardest to retrieve magical essence possible?! (Remy said as if that was a normal sentence...) He'd be invincible! How are you going to control that much magic?!"
"The boy would remember what happened to him all those years ago. He won't be confused, therefore strong. Don't go now. Don't use these stones to contact me," Deceit tossed five small round rocks to Remy, each with a different symbol engraved onto the flat side. "You don't know how to use them?"
"Yeah, throw them into a river or something and say flumen. Latin for river."
"Then why aren't you still here?" Deceit pointed to the cave entrance. Rolling his eyes, Remy sauntered outside, taking large sips of the almost empty drink in his hand. He thought to himself, I guess it's time to go catch De De a prince...
