Honey, I Shrunk the Kids [Pt. 1]

The creatures were having fun playing outside.

Cooky and RJ were running around chasing after Shooky, who was in his hamster ball. Chimmy was professionally beatboxing while playing his harmonica, with Mang breakdancing to the beats. Koya was colouring with Tata... or... sleeping... probably. Tata had Van strike poses for inspiration.

The men were by the porch, having fun in their own circle as they talked and snacked on some junk food.

It was a weekend, and they were allowed to take a break for two days.

Half an hour later and the sky was starting to get dark. Jin had ushered the others back into the house, the creatures groaning and pouting to be let out a little longer. But with the promise of food, they sadly agreed.

Tata began packing their colouring items, letting Namjoon help a bit as he held Koya with an arm. The other creatures decided to follow their respective partners in. Joon had offered to carry some of Tata's things, but the little red alien smiled and shook its head.

"Tata tata tatata!"

Tata can do it!

The man smiled at that and decided to follow the alien, picking up the papers and crayons and even little trinkets that were dropped behind the clueless heart-head. As he picked them up, Van opened a compartment on its belly to store them.

On the way to the living room to keep the things, however, Tata accidentally tripped and fell. The things he held went flying and scattered everywhere, randomly landing on different parts of the floor. Namjoon, who got shocked at the sudden noise of the fall, jerked and tripped over something, landing sideways on the couch as he held onto Koya for dear life.

His clumsiness would definitely be laughed at, but when the thing that he tripped on, more specifically, one of Tata's trinkets, began glowing and rattling about the floor.

"Um... is... is that thing supposed to do that?" Hobi asked cautiously, looking at the whatever-that-thing-is uncomfortably.

"T- Tata..."

U- Uh oh...

"Hm? What? Uh oh? What's that supposed to mea- Tata its glowing different colours now do something?!"

Tata scrambled up and dashed for it. the object turned red and he dived towards it, but before he could land a tentacle on it, the object flashed a bright white light, blinding the screaming men and creatures.

The light lasted for a second, and ended like as if nothing happened. The object even stopped moving.

"Is it over?"

"The light's gone but damn... my eyes hurt..."

"What happened? Are we in heaven? Did an angel come?"

"I'm blind! I've gone blind! Guys! Where are you?! Don'T LEAVE ME HOW DARE Y'ALL LEAVE ME I COOK AND CLEAN THIS HOUSE IS THIS WHAT YOUDO TO ME-"

"Hyung your eyes are still closed..."

"It's too bright!"

"It's fine now. Just... slowly, c'mon..."

The men groaned as they tried to regain their senses.

"Everyone okay?" Namjoon called out from his position, still on the couch. "My eyes are already bad... this time I might actually go blind..."

He sat up, hand still cradling Koya as he looked around the room.
