after slipping my phone into my pocket, i grabbed my water bottle and walked out of the gym. "you going home?" chan asked as he came down the hall.

"yeah. i need a shower," i said and chan nodded. "you're still here?"

"ah, yeah," chan said. "i had to pick something up from the studio. but since you're going home, we can just go together."

"yeah, sure," i shrugged. we walked down the hall and into the elevator. "i talked to ashton."

chan looked over at me. "yeah? you guys okay now?"

"we still have to talk things out but i think we're gonna be okay," i said then took a drink from my water bottle.

"that's good. you guys are good together..."

he went to say something but i interrupted him. "i want to see her."

"like visit her? in the states?" chan asked and i nodded. chan sighed. "i know you miss her, han, but i'm not sure if you'll be able to. not with the comeback being so soon. i'll see what i can do, ok?"

"i appreciate it," i said and chan nodded. the elevator stopped and we got out. then we walked to the company car and headed home.

chan was a little too quiet, making me feel a bit anxious. "you and ash...have you guys, y'know?" he suddenly asked and i looked at him. i raised an eyebrow and his cheeks flushed.

i let out a soft chuckle. "no, we haven't had sex. but we have done stuff," i said and he looked somewhat relieved. "why do you look so relieved?"

"i don't know. i guess i just figured you guys had already done it since you've been together for so long."

"yeah, i know. we're just taking things slow. we have talked about it though," i said and chan nodded. neither of us said anything until we got to the dorm. "by the way, thanks for the pep talk. i really needed it."

"it's nothing. we're brothers, han. ashton is important to you and i'm not going to let you let it fall apart because of something stupid."

"she is important to me," i agreed and chan nodded, a small grin curving up onto his lips. we walked into the dorm and took our shoes off. "i'm gonna shower."

"all right. see you in the morning," he said and i nodded. i headed to the bathroom and took a long hot shower. as i was getting out, my phone started ringing. it was ashton.

i immediately slid the answer button over. "ash...hey."

"you waited for me," she said and i smiled to myself.

"ah, yeah. i actually just got out of the shower," i explained and she hummed. "look, ash. i'm so sorry for how i reacted about you getting closer to felix. i don't have a problem with you being friends with him or any of the boys. i trust you and i know you won't lose feelings for me."

"i'm sorry, too. i overreacted about the whole thing. i shouldn't have gotten so mad. i just don't understand why you get so jealous over stuff like that," she said and i could tell by her tone that she was frowning. "i only want you, jisung."

before i could say anything, she started talking again. "i love you, ji. you're the first boy i've ever felt this way about. no one else matters."

"i love you too, princess," i said, ignoring the way my heart fluttered. "you mean so much to me. and i'll try to be better. cause you seriously deserve the world."

"oh hush," i pictured her blushing and i couldn't stop the smile that made its way onto my face. "i miss you so much."

"i miss you too," i sighed. "don't worry, we'll see each other soon."

we continued to talk until ashton made me go to bed. but knowing that we were okay again made it easier to fall asleep. i missed her a lot and i really wanted to see her. i just wanted to hold her in my arms and kiss her until she gets shy.

it was honestly terrifying to me. i didn't know i was capable of feeling this way about anyone. i didn't care that i was young. i was happy with ashton and i was going to cherish her for as long as i could.
