The only light came from the fire that was always alight at night. It made the camp glow different shades of yellow and orange, still not quite bright enough of you to see clearly. Which had been why Finn held his own torch as you made your way from the Village.

It had since emptied, many Grounders having called it a night. Though, voices could still be heard from further inside the camp. None of which had alarmed you. They were laughs that filled the Grounders as they had yet to realise the Sky people who had invaded their Village.

"What are you doing? This isn't part of the plan?" Murphy questions, his voice hardly coming above a whisper. He had been right, this wasn't part of the plan. There wasn't suppose to be fire involved. Yet Finn had still held a tight grip over the torch.

He fell in front of Murphy as he led the way. "I'm changing the plan." He speaks. You would've appreciated him telling you so earlier. Maybe then you would've had time to talk him out of it.

Your eyes had widen but your feet still followed after the boy. "Finn! You can't just change the plan." You scold, still keeping your voice low so you didn't alert any grounders of your presence.

Murphy glanced at you as he returned the same expression : worry. Not one of you would be able to predict what the hell Finn was about to do. Well, you could say that it wasn't going to be good. You follow him, Murphy coming to your side with his gun held high. With one look around, Finn threw the torch into the small hut.

Within moments, the fire grew tall. The building setting alight just like their bonfire had been doing. You had been the last to run into hiding, only moved when Murphy's hand brushed against your shoulder blades. This wasn't right, you told yourself. You were setting their village on fire. Well, you had let Finn set it on fire. You should've stopped him.

It hadn't been long until a woman's screams could be heard. "Faya! Faya!" (fire! fire!) She repeatedly cried as she awaited help. Her words were from their language, but it didn't take a genius to know she yelling out at the fire. A bell soon chimed to indicted the problem. Many Grounders ran in panic as they took in the fire that had began to burn all of their food.

You stood in front of Murphy as you watched. All you could so was watch. To them, this may have been life or death. All their food was gone. Something you had been through before. The same thing that had ended with you breaking down in front of Murphy. "Distraction. Not bad." The boy who had leaned down next to you compliments.

A thank you never left Finns lips. Not that starting a fire was something to be complimented on. Then again, this was the Ground. "Let's go." He orders before going back to lead you away.

You stayed low, your hand ready to grab your sword at any moment. Unlike the two boys who had their guns out at the ready. If a grounder came at them, they'd shoot. Murphy had found slight comfort in it. Considering he had gone a whole trip without a gun, he felt much more protected with it close to his chest.
