Her heart grew heavy in her hands
The voices making too many demands
Lost at a crossroad with nowhere to go
Trapped within her own limbo
Drifting through distant dreams
Life being torn at the seams
Her hands stretched out for a light
One final hope to urge the fight
Faced with the past she must let go
To make room for her true self to show
A new path opening within her reach
Silencing the voices that twist her sleep
Her heart grew lighter in her hands
It became her turn to take a stand.
