(Y/n's P.O.V)

It's currently the height of You-Know-Who's power. Everywhere you go, it is unsafe. I may have to use that to my advantage. I came home for summer break, and that's when my life turned upside down. I found out I was pregnant with my boyfriend Percy's baby. I tried to send him a letter to tell him, but my parents found the letter and well here I am now living in the streets. Well, muggle streets, I can't afford to stay in the wizarding world. I had no home and knew I had no place at Hogwarts anymore.

My friend Karen's house is the only place left for me to go; she's a muggle. She only has her house for a month before she goes away to college. I must find a job and get $1,000 or more in four weeks. I have to get two or more jobs to get out of here, so I am walking through the streets, dropping my resume off to as many places as possible. Once I was finished, I went back to the apartment in time for supper.

"Y/n, your sister came over with your clothes for you," Karen says as I walk in.

"Thanks; I'll probably have to have my sister deliver a letter to Percy." I think out loud.

"She said she would return tomorrow to drop off some money." My older sister is a Hufflepuff for a reason.

"I'll go write that letter then." I get up and head to my room. I pull a quill and parchment from my trunk that my sister brought over.

'Dear Percy,

Hey, how has it been? Sorry, I have been MIA. I had to leave. I had no choice. Mum and Dad were mad. They kicked me out after they found out... after they found out... Percy, we are going to be parents. I'm sorry you had to find out via letter. I can't go back to the Wizarding world now, not ever. If you need to find me, you can find me at my friend Karen's house till the end of the month. I understand if you want nothing to do with me, but this is your baby, too, and I need help. I can't afford a place of my own, at least. I am working on getting a job to pay for things, and Dora is helping out a lot. Karen is leaving at the end of the month, so I want to get enough money for a small apartment.

I know what you're thinking, Y/n Tonks. That makes me Nymphadora Tonks, sister, Dora for short. Well, I call her Dora cause it is weird calling her Tonks cause that's my name, too.

"Y/n, I'm going to head to bed. I'll see you in the morning!!" Karen poked her head into my room.

"Okay, Karen, see you tomorrow." Once she left, I changed into my Pajamas and went to bed.

--Time Skip---

The following day, I was up early. I made breakfast and cleaned the house by the time Karen was up. This happened a lot as stress stopped me from getting enough sleep which both of those things can be very dangerous for the baby.

When Karen up we sat down to eat. Just as I was cutting into my egg there was a knock at the door. I got up to answer it. Standing a the door was my sister Dora.

I welcomed her in with a thankful hug. I offered her some breakfast, but she opted to pass instead get straight to business. Whenever she could Dora was sneaking my belongings out for me.

I gratefully took the bag full of clothes, and sheets that had made this trip. I grabbed the letter for Percy.

"Please make sure Percy gets this!" I say handing it to her.

"Of course!" She takes the letter and gives me a hug. "I have to get going but I'll see you tomorrow Y/N/N!"
