Between helping Hinata and Kageyama move into their Tokyo apartment, planning their "engagement party" for Saturday and preparing for school to start back up, Suga and Oikawa didn't get to spend a lot of time together during the week.
Oikawa watched Suga as he helped Hinata in their new kitchen, as he helped unpack the books in the bookcase from the living room with Kageyama.
"Oikawa-san?"
Oikawa smiled as he turned to face his kouhei, who was wearing his normal grumpy expression. They had been helping them for more than an hour and Kageyama still hadn't said anything to him.
"Is there something wrong Tobio-chan?" He grins.
"No...I...um just wanted to say thank you for your help today and..." Kageyama grimaces. "...please take care of Sugawara-san!" He quickly bows down.
Oikawa is surprised, to say the least. He had been expecting his protege to object to his engagement to Mr. Refreshing or yell at him at least...but not this.
Oikawa softened his face and laughed lightly.
"Why are you laughing?" Kageyama furrows his brow.
"I didn't expect that, honestly," Oikawa smiles. "I was prepared for the worst. Yelling, kicking, throwing a volleyball at me...but not encouragement." He stared at the younger man who was much taller than him now and just smiled. "Thank you, Tobio. I promise to take care of Kou-chan."
Kageyama blushes and smiles. "It's weird when you're being so honest."
"Eh...shut up," Oikawa playfully laughs. "I am always honest!"
"I wasn't sure what to think when Shoyo said you were dating eachother," Kageyama looks over at his senpai as Suga teases Hinata for being too short to reach the kitchen cabinets. "But I'm glad. Shoyo told me how you two started dating and how loving you two were when he stopped by the other day. Sugawara-san is good for you...so don't mess it up."
"Give me a little credit," Oikawa laughs. "Ive matured a lot since middle school. Besides, I feel happier when I'm with him. He makes me smile every day," Oikawa smiles.
"That's good," Kageyama smiles, happy that two of his senpai's are finally happy.
"You know...I could say the same thing about Chibi-chan. He challenges you and faces every obstacle with you. He's made you a better man," Oikawa grins.
"Yeah...I think I'd be a total asshole like Tsukishima, if I hadn't met Shoyo," Kageyama laughs. "He pushes me, pulls me, drags me by his side, without hesitation." Kageyama looks at Oikawa. "I love him so much..." he whispers, his eyes widening.
"Tobio-chan?" Oikawa holds up his hand to get his kouhei's attention.
"Oikawa-san!" Kageyama yells, grabbing Oikawa's hands with his. "I really love him. I can't imagine not having him by my side...I...I wanna..."
"Do you want to marry him..." Oikawa whispers, Kageyama's eyes soften and he quickly nods his head 'yes'.
Holy shit...Chibi-chan might actually loose this one too, Oikawa stares in amazement.
What do I do? He quickly glances at the kitchen looking for Suga, but he doesn't see him anymore.
Where did he go?
.
.
."Suga-san...can I ask you a weird question?" Hinata twiddle his thumbs together as he steps closer to the where Suga is sitting on the bed in his new bedroom, opening a box on the bed.
"Sure," Suga smiles, patting the bed next to him for Hinata to sit.
"What do Oikawa's hands feel like?" He asks as he sits down on the bed.
What kind of question is that? Suga's not sure if he should laugh or blush, so he does both.
"I always imagined Tobio's hands being really rough with how hard he used to squeeze my head and smack the ball," Hinata laughs, looking down at his own hands. "But they are really gentle and beautiful. The first time he held my hand, I felt like I was melting in his touch. It's still like that, even after all these years."
"Yeah...I can understand what you mean," Suga laughs, thinking about the first time he felt Oikawa's touch. "Tooru's touch is...very soft and gentle. I honestly don't remember what I expected it to feel like...all I know is that I've never experienced wanting someone to touch me that badly before."
"Really?" Hinata blushes. "I...know what you mean. Tobio is the only who's ever touched me."
"Really?" Suga is intrigued. "He's your first...everything?"
"Yeah," Hinata blushes, scratching his face. "My first boyfriend...first kiss...first, well...you know..."
"Oh?" Suga smiles, awkwardly. "I wouldn't know much about that, actually...both Tooru and I are..." Suga can feel the embarrassment creep over his face. "I mean, neither of us have...you know..."
"Wait...I thought you just meant that you and the Great King hadn't done it yet," Hinata's eyes widen, his face flushes.
"No...actually...I've just never felt comfortable with anyone before," Suga laughs. "But the first time Tooru kissed me...I felt it throughout my entire body."
"That's...that's so amazing Suga-san!" Hinata smiles. "I'm so happy that you finally found someone who makes you feel that way."
"Yeah. It's surprising because I don't know how someone who can serve a volleyball at 114 kilometers per hour, can touch me so gently," Suga laughs.
"The Great King's serves are really amazing," Hinata laughs.
"Yes they are," Suga smiles.
"Thanks Chibi-chan!" Giving Hinata his famous peace sigh and smile as he pops his head in the room.
"Tooru!"
"Oikawa-san..."
"Sorry Kou-chan," Oikawa blushes as he walks into the room, wrapping his arms around Suga's shoulders. "I didn't mean to ease drop, but you were being so adorable and sweet..." he says looking down at Suga. "It made me want to kiss you so badly," he kisses Suga's cheek repeatedly.
"Tooru! You are...horrible," Suga laughs rasing his hand up to pinch Oikawa's cheek.
"Kou-chan is too cute!" Oikawa pouts as he slides next to Suga on the bed, moving his arm around his back and gripping his waist. "It's not my fault."
"Alright, alright...fine," Suga laughs, wrapping his arm around Oikawa's back, pulling him closer. "I know you didn't come all the way up here just to make me blush...so what's up?"
"Tobio wants to propose..."
"Wait...what..."
"Ehhhhh???"
