What the fuck happened?
Why am I on the ground?
It took me a second to open my eyes and see where I was. I was on the floor. And right next to me was the bed that was in my dorm. I guess I fell off.
I stood up and went to the bathroom, took a shower, and then tried to go back to sleep.
But that didn't work out very well.
I heard a doorbell go off. Honestly, I didn't know there was doorbells until then.
I walked over to my dorm door, honestly not in the mood to talk to anyone. I opened it slowly, "What do you w- oh, hey Rubie."
Rubie was standing at my door, god knows why. "Hi! It's pretty late already, and I was just checking to see if you were alright."
It was already late? Did that mean I slept in?
"Oh, yeah, I'm great. Perfect. Not dead." I told her.
"Heheh, yeah... Sorry for bothering you. But there's still food in the dining hall if you want it." She sad in a sad tone.
Wait, did I accidentally hurt her feelings? "No, no. You didn't bother me. It's fine. It's all cool. I'm just... kinda easily ticked off right now." I explained.
She chinned up a bit at this statement. "Great. So, do you wanna head to the dining hall with me? If not, it's okay..." Said Rubie.
I honestly wasn't in the mood. But Rubie was so nice to me that I would feel mean if I refused. "Mmm... Sure."
I walked out of my dorm with Rubie, walking to the dining hall with her, secretly wishing I had denied her offer.
Once we got there it was just us, Miles, and Kami. Miles and Kami were sitting together, and Miles looked terrified. We got some food and sat with them.
"So, basically, about communism. You see, it isn't that bad bec-" Good fucking god. What was Kami talking about.
"Hey, guys..." I said, taking a seat beside Miles, and Rubie sat on the other side of Miles so that Kami was on one side of the table by herself.
"Oh hey, Kenny, right? I haven't talked to you much." Kami said to me.
"Yeah, I know. I could help but notice that you were talking to my dear buddy miles about some... interesting topics." I said.
"Oh! Yeah, communism. Very interesting, isn't it?"
Yeah, this conversation wasn't going to end well.
"Hey, have any of you seen Sarah?" Miles said, looking very uncomfortable.
"Oh! I did. Come on, I'll take you to see her." Rubie said. I watched them as they exited the dining hall.
I was glad Miles found someone to be himself around. We all need someone like that.
"Anyways. Communism-" "Can you shut up about communism?" This girl was getting on my nerves.
"Shut the fuck up, straggot." What did that even mean?
She got up and walked away, genuinely angry for some reason. Angry about communism jokes.
I honestly wasn't hungry so, I got up myself and started heading back to the dormitories.
And that's when I heard it.
I heard a very loud scream.
I didn't know who it was or where exactly it was coming from. But as soon as I heard it I knew I was going to have to do something.
I started running towards where I heard the noise coming from.
After a minute or so of running around the halls, I found where it came from.
Sarah, Cosmo, and someone laying down were all in a storage room.
I walked into the storage room and I got closer to the person that was laying down.
It was Rubie.
I had no words.
I was upset, but I didn't know how to express it at all.
Was she alive?
"Is she okay...?" I asked.
What a stupid fucking question
Cosmo bent down to check her pulse. "Uh... There's nothing."
"Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. What are we gonna do? Holy shit." Said Sarah.
Miles then came in around that time, "Are you guys o-" He paused. "No... No. No." He said before running off, probably to cry or tell somebody else. Sarah went after him.
"A body has been discovered!
Following a brief period of investigation, we will commence our school trial!" I heard Monokuma's voice say through a monitor.
A trial for what? To find out which one of us betrayed us?
Whatever it was for, I could see I had a big storm coming.
