"Sorry for bringing you on a trip so suddenly, Mr. Polnareff." Giorno looked down at the tortoise which he placed onto one of the tables in his private jet. Polnareff appeared out of the key, looked up at Giorno, and chuckled.
"No worries. I've been wanting to go out for a while. It's a little boring being stuck inside the same room for 10 years, you know?" Polnareff stretched, before turning to look out the window. "So, Florida, huh..."
"Hm? Yes, we're going to Florida. Why, is there something wrong with it?" Giorno reclined his chair. It would take about 14 hours to get to Florida. He might as well get comfortable.
"No, there's nothing wrong with it, just... I told you before, right? About Jotaro Kujo."
"Mr. Kujo? You've told me about him before, but that was a long time ago." There was silence for a few seconds, before Giorno nodded slightly at Polnareff, as if to say, 'go on.'
"He went to go to America and Asia to look for the arrows. I wonder how he's doing... I haven't been able to make contact with him in over a decade. He doesn't know if I'm alive, and worse-"
"You don't know if he's alive." Giorno looked at the ghost which sat above the key, who nodded. "Well, I searched him up before. He's alive, but there's been no way for me to contact him. This person I met one day... Koichi. He told me that Mr. Kujo probably wouldn't want to talk to me, due to my heritage..." Giorno sighed.
"Hey. Don't sweat it. You can't control who your dad is." Polnareff sighed, and looked out the window. Water stared back, signifying that they were now flying over the Atlantic.
"Mr. Polnareff, I'm... Sorry. About my father- about DIO." Giorno looked away. Even if it wasn't his fault, he couldn't help but feel bad- his father had killed one of Polnareff's friends, and his minion had killed two more. Of course he couldn't get it off his mind.
"Come on, I told you, it's fine. Your dad isn't a part of you. You're Giorno Giovanna, and I can see the blood of the Kujo- er, Joestar family in you." Polnareff looked back at Giorno, and smiled. "You're a good kid.
"Thank you, Mr. Polnareff." Giorno sighed, and got up. "Do you want a drink? I believe we have some wine and water in the fridge."
"I'll take some water. That'd be nice." Giorno nodded at Polnareff, and walked towards the refrigerator, but stopped halfway. He felt something... Off.
"「Gold Experience Requiem」." His stand summoned, and it touched the walls of the jet. "Four... Four lifeforces. It should just be me, Coco Jumbo, and the pilot. Hey, Mr. Polnareff!" Giorno yelled out.
"Yea, Giorno?" Polnareff turned to him in confusion. Giorno made a few hand signals. 'Enemy stand. I'll fight them.' Polnareff nodded, and he slipped into the key of the tortoise.
Giorno sighed. "You know, it'll be a lot easier for me if you just come out." Giorno looked around the jet, before hearing the bathroom door open.
"Shit. I didn't expect cha' to find me so easily..." A voice rang through the jet, as a women, perhaps the same age as Giorno, stepped out. She looked at Giorno, and struck a pose, grinning.
Giorno looked at the girl, and sighed once more. "I'll give you one chance. Don't move, and I'll put you in a hospital in America when we get there."
"Heh. Are you fuckin' kidding? Why would I pass up this chance to take over yer mafia! Now,「Motteke Sailor Fuku」!!! " Out from her body popped out a humanoid like stand, donning long, glimmering blue hair. She quickly ran towards Giorno, her stand sticking out three fingers on its left hand. "Take this!! 「Three Centimeter Fury」!!"
The stand jabbed its fingers into Giorno's neck, and he suddenly stepped back in sudden pain, and-
Giorno stepped back, his face determined. The girl stood there, confused. "W-What? Didn't I just..?"
"「Gold Experience Requiem」." GER was summoned once more, and Giorno stepped forward towards the girl. "You really... Really... Shouldn't have done that."
"MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA MUDA!!!" Gold Experience Requiem punched the girl for a few seconds, until she fell down onto the floor, dead.
The girl would now experience an infinite series of events which would make her relive different versions of her own death. Giorno didn't know this. If he knew this, he wouldn't have killed her. Yet, his stand had never told him. It was for the best, GER believed.
"「Motteke Sailor Fuku」, was it?" Giorno looked down at the corpse, and made GER touch it, just to be sure. The soul was gone. "I wonder what that would have done. Hey, Mr. Polnareff. I killed the enemy."
Polnareff popped out from the tortoise's key, and looked to Giorno and the dead body. "So you did, huh..." That was the first time he had heard Giorno's stand cry. It was the exact same as his father, DIO's, stand cry. 'Useless.' Polnareff shuttered slightly. Even long after Polnareff's own death, he still sometimes had nightmares about DIO.
Yet, although this was the first time he had heard Giorno's stand cry, it wouldn't be the last. This trip would turn out to be very eventful.
