I'll Be Alright (Dreadwing X OC)

Optimus Prime

For your actions, I took the blame...

                   An engine was heard in the distance. Dreadwing turned to see the familiar red and blue semi and sneered, then dropping the seeker. Starscream groaned, hitting the ground. The blue seeker walked out in front of the troops to see the prime. "You 2, guard the prisoner." He signaled to Eradicons #74 and #8. The 2 ran back to do as they were told. Optimus then transformed once he was far enough to stay away from the Decepticons but still in audial range. 

                Eradicons #5 and #13 walked out to Dreadwing's side. The Blue seeker called out "Optimus Prime, I will request, ONLY ONCE, that you surrender the relic." Optimus reasoned back "I was going to request the same of you, Dreadwing." Dreadwing declared back "Then I would say that we are on equal footing, were it not that there are 6 of us, and ONLY, one of you." "7 if you'd relieve me of these ridiculous manacles." No one took response to this and everything fell silent.

                     Optimus and Dreadwing had a stare down for a few minutes until Dreadwing pulled out his Gatling gun and shot at Optimus, the Vehicons ejected their blasters and shot at the prime. Optimus ejected his blasters and shot back at them. Dreadwing got hit on the right side of his chassis near his cockpit. ShiverTooth ran over and tried to help him, before Dreadwing shoved him back, making the green seeker fall to the floor. 

                The blue seeker stood on his own and continued shooting. Optimus dodged the 3 blasts and continued shooting. He then jumped and ejected his blade. Dreadwing switched to his sword and threw Optimus back. They collided their blades again and again until Optimus jumped and kicked the blue seeker back. Dreadwing twirled his blade in the air and then ran at Optimus. The 2 collided their weapons again, and Optimus drew the seeker's blade to the ground. Dreadwing hit him back with his other servo. Optimus nearly fell off the cliff they stood on.

                   The SIC put his sword away along with Optimus and they both ran at each other. Dreadwing hit himself into the Prime's chassis, pushing them both off the cliff. Eradicon's #74 and #8 along with the 2 other twins ran to the edge to see that Dreadwing and the enemy were still engaged in combat. Dreadwing threw Optimus to the ground with a really hard punch to the windshield. Optimus turned to his back and ejected his blaster. He shot at the wall, breaking it. Dreadwing laughed, "Your aim is poor." The wall started crumbling and Optimus declared "That is a matter of perspective." Dreadwing turned to see the wall crumbling down and attempted to run as Optimus started to. The blue seeker fell to the ground being engulfed in broken pieces of the ice wall.

                    the remaining 4 Decepticons ran down the cliffside to the rubble. Starscream wondered "A stalemate would leave us, where?" Eradicon#74 called out "Commander Dreadwing!!!" The Ice particles in the air settled to show Optimus walking towards them. The 2 Eradicons ejected their weapons and shot at the Prime. Optimus did the same and shot at the Decepticons. Starscream grabbed Eradicon#8's blaster, interrupting his shooting. Eradicon#74 turned around and shot, but Starscream used Eradicon#8's frame as a shield, making Eradicon #8 die instantly.

                Being distracted, Optimus shot Eradicon#74 killing the con instantly, leaving Starscream and ShiverTooth the only 2 remaining. Starscream walked out to Optimus before ShiverTooth could speak and said "What a team we make!!! I am so glad that you prevailed, Optimus Prime!! That wretched Dreadwing was going to terminate me. Now if you could just, remove my bonds, I can lead you straight to the relic." Optimus charged up his blaster in response, holding it at the seeker. "You will lead me there regardless..." He growled. Starscream sneered, "hmph, you're welcome..."

                   ShiverTooth walked towards them, his wings down. "I-I apologize for his actions, he's like this because of me." He sighed. Optimus lowered his blaster, astound by the seeker's words. "Why would you say that?" Optimus questioned. ShiverTooth's optics faded to dark blue as he looked away, "Specific reasons..." Optimus stepped back as the color changed in the Decepticon's optics. He had never seen optics that changed color.

                       "Your optics changed." He stated. ShiverTooth nodded slowly and his wings rose a bit. "It's an emotional thing." Optimus nodded and turned to walk. Starscream stuttered, "W-wait!! Why did you not cuff my twin? He's a Decepticon, too!! You 2 haven't even met yet!!!" Optimus growled back, "I do not think that he needs cuffs. He has not proven to be hostile. And his optics changed blue because of sadness. Emotion Optics do not lie." Starscream's optics widened, then slowly died down as he groaned in annoyance.
