Ren strode over to Mori's office, wondering what he would have called her there for, unless it was for an assignment. The door opened as she walked in.

"It hasn't really been a long time since you were involved with other organisations, however, I think another crime syndicate has taken advantage of that and sent a threat towards us. You were involved with them a little before you joined the Port Mafia and spied on them, which they didn't seem to take kindly. They basically threatened to search and destroy the whole of the Port Mafia to find you, though as long as everyone keeps their mouth shut, you should be fine. If they do find out it was you, I have faith in your abilities, but our little business trip is scheduled in around a few weeks, so that will stop them for some time." He leaned forward, resting his chin on his hands as he looked at her.

"Which crime syndicate are you referring to exactly?"

"Ah, forgive me for not explaining. The Tokugawa-kai from Tokyo and Yokohama, though their influence does reach to the United States. I believe you are familiar with them, though you were involved with them when you were 15, so I don't fully expect your memory to have lasted." He smiled.

"I do remember them. I will make sure to be careful, and I will warn my subordinates. Do I have another assignment?"

"I don't want to make you unnecessarily busy before we leave, so you won't be getting any major assignments, apart from accompanying your subordinates or filling in for others, so you'll mostly be doing paperwork and you can help others out with paperwork if you wish, and I will give you some of mine to do. I will warn you if things get out of hand I might also request you teach some of your techniques to other spies in the Port Mafia, and we can develop our surveillance techniques even further. I am pleased we have such a talented agent working with us. You are dismissed." She nodded.

"Thank you." She strode out, calling for a meeting with her subordinates.

She stood in front of all of them, which weren't a lot, but were some of the most capable spies in the Port Mafia. They all looked intimidating in their own right, but their eyes held respect and a little fear for her as she cleared her throat. They stood in a dark room, with a light dimly illuminating the table, casting long shadows across the floor, making the room feel more mysterious and invoking a sense of fear. Her subordinates were positioned in a circle, each wearing a suit or something similar, with weapons hidden inside.

"I have an announcement. If anybody asks for my identity, do not give it to them, or anything else that could identify me. I understand that you know the consequences. Any questions?" Her voice rang out in the room, her words hanging in the air and slowly being absorbed by her subordinates.

"If any of our subordinates or other agents know your identity, we relay this message to them, correct?" One of them asked.

"Yes. If there are no more questions, then you are dismissed." She waited for a moment before turning around, vanishing into the shadows.

Her subordinates nodded and left the room. Going back to her office, she ended up writing reports all day. Sighing, she made her way towards the training room, removed her jacket and took out a katana, positioning herself. She began making small movements, adjusting her technique until she swung it in larger arcs. Her movements started off slightly hesitant and a bit jerky, but soon they flowed into each other, merging into an elegant dance that sliced cleanly through the air. She cut through the air one last time in one graceful swing, and put it back where she found it.

"Good job. It's been a while since I've seen you doing more traditional stuff." Chuuya leaned against the door frame.

"Sure. I haven't used a katana in a while, so my skills are a little rusty. At least this one's good quality."
