I was sitting in the kitchen looking at the two lines. Wow, life can be so cruel huh.
I looked at my tummy and touched it. I still can't believe that a baby was growing inside my little tummy. How can she fit in here?
"Baby i promise, i'll never leave you. You're my baby and i will take care of you for the rest of my life. You're my life now." I whispered while caressing my tummy. A tear fell.
Pinunasan ko ito agad nang makita ang asawa ko na papasok sa kitchen.
"Hi! Good morning!" he said hurriedly as he was getting a toast. He was always like this. Eat then leave. Go home then sleep.
"Can we talk?" I asked him in a small voice.
"Of course we can. But can we do it later? I have a meeting and I'm kind of running late." pagkatapos ay tinignan nya ang kanyang relo. Late for your girl maybe.
"Please..." i asked him pleading.
We've been together for 3 years now. Maybe he'll realized that this is something important right? Or maybe not.
"Honey, we can talk about that when i get home. This meeting is really important." He said it like he was dismissing me and then went to kiss my cheeks.
Hinawakan ko siya at tinignan ang mga mata nya. The eyes that i fell in love with. The eyes that i wish would look at me with love and adoration but it never happened. Life's a bitch.
"I'm pregnant." i said it while looking straight into his eyes.
Kitang kita ko na natigilan sya. I saw how his expression changed. Did he get hurt? Oh Serena please, don't be delusional. I'm sure that was only because of his ego. He didn't even like me.
