JEINNE'S P.O.V.
The weekends passed by so quick. Today is Monday and we have tests and practicals so I was in a rush, it's also the last Monday of the month and the last week before they arrive. The whole class is busy reviewing that we didn't noticed that the professor was here already. We have a quiz on him.
I stood up and passed my paper, I finished the quiz in about 45 minutes, I am done with his subject and I can go out, I looked at Nics and the boys to signal that I'm already heading out, just then, I noticed that Hace didn't attend the class. I walked out of the room and called him but he didn't pick up, maybe he's just late so I decided to go to my office to wait for them. Evo was the first to arrive, he said Nics asked him to tell me that she's having a hard time with the test, oh I forgot, our training schedule was moved to the following Saturday since Hace just went home.
"How was our Lady? I hope she's resting well" he said
"She went to the main office today, she will also drop by if she has time, she wants to check Jane's curriculum since they are a month late"
"She can adjust to it. Si Avrea pa ba" he said
"You'll be shocked when you see her now, mas matangkad siya sakin"
"Really? She's a half-blood, hindi imposible"
"Yeah, her father is Italian and they said he was really tall"
"That's where she got the genes"
"Why isn't Hace present?" I asked
"I don't know too. He didn't texted us either" he said, I let it off and went on with the day.
*Tuesday*
Another no show for Hace today. Not a single soul know where he is or what happened to him so I called Shanna to find out for me. By lunch, she found out that Hace was actually sick, she also learned that he was not taking any medicine. I decided I'll visit him after class. I told them Hace's condition and they all agreed on visiting him together. After a subject, I received a call from mom
[A, Jane and Zaide's flight was adjusted to tomorrow night]
"what? why?" I asked
[The weather there is getting bad, they might cancel flights within the weekends since a typhoon is approaching them]
"I see, thanks for the info Mom" I said
I am nervous because of them arriving earlier than expected so I decided to leave school earlier, I was actually distressed by that fact that I just found myself at the drive thru of a McDonald's later on making my way to a pharmacy to buy meds.
Their mansion door immediately opened for me as maid and staff greeted me then later on Tita Keana
"Princess, what a pleasant surprise"
"Sorry for coming without notice at all Tita, it's just on my way so I decided to drop by, also, I'd like to give him this" I said showing her the things I bought
"There's no problem with that, you are very welcome here and I bet Hace is dying to meet you, I just hope he starts feeling better, that's also his favorite. Do you want to go to him now?"
"Sure tita" She guided me to his room, it was huge, gray-themed and very clean. Like mine, it has a receiving area but the layout of his is more open than mine, you can easily his bed and he was sleeping so he didn't noticed
"Oh, sleeping again, he doesn't want to drink any medicine that's why his fever isn't going down. Do you want to wait for a while here?"
"Yes tita and if he's not gonna wake up anytime soon, I'll just leave you these" I said
"Okay, I'm sorry to leave you here but if you need me I'll be at the last room on the right, we're still preparing it, I'll also call a maid so she can assist you with anything"
"That's fine tita" I said before she left the room
I went beside him and sat beside him but he's facing the other side
'ten minutes. I'll give you ten minutes, if you haven't woken up by that, I'll go'
I said to myself, I let my eyes wander around his room. The room divider has trophies, a basketball ball with a signature of I don't know who, medals etc.
His room smells so much like him that it can make your heart flutter
"Jeinne?! What are you doing here?! Stand up! Get away from me! You will catch my cold!" he shouted that got me up on my feet while he keeps covering his nose and mouth with his blanket
"How long have you been here?! Mom!MOM!" he yelled so loud that Tita Keana came rushing
"She will catch my cold! Get me some mask!" he demanded
"Relax! my immune system is fully functional Hace"
"hahaha, here son" she pulled some surgical mask from the drawer beside Hace, gave him one and one for me
"bare with him" she said and went out the room again
"What is it? why?" he said sitting up
"I bought these myself so drink one right now" I handed him the medicine
"I bought these on the way too, these aren't poisoned so here" I handed him the McDonald's
"You didn't have to. What time is it? why are you out this early?"
"I was calling you. They will also be here later" I answered
"But why are you out this early and went here alone" he said
"I was bored"
"Really? do you know you suck at lying?" he asked sarcastically
"Our cousins will be here soon. You need to get well immediately" I said averting my gaze from him
"If you keep acting like that I'd think you're worried about me" he said
"What the-- can you get a hold of yourself " I replied and got up to leave since I gave him what I needed to
"Where are you going" he said grabbing me and instantly regretting
"You just arrived and it would be rude if--" he said taking his hand away from my arm
"Drink the medicine and eat, it'll get cold" I said and handed him the water from his bedside table, he obeyed
"What brought you here? your visit was so sudden" he asked
"Nothing really, it's just that it's on my way and decided to drop by" I lied
"who are you kidding?" he asked
"could you please stop asking, eat and then I'll leave" I said
