To say we had hit the honeymoon stage again but this time as a married couple was accurate. It has only been a month in, but God I could not get over the fact that Hayden is my husband and soon to be father. We finally finished decorating Ryder's room and it made me so happy every time I walked past it. Airplanes was the theme for his room so the background looked like the sky with different planes dashing through the air.

His grandparents had gotten him some stuffed toys that were almost overflowing the crate we had for him. Ryder was definitely going to be spoiled. The only thing we really had to watch for was when the dogs decided to hide under his crib or try and sneak a toy out and into our bedroom.

"Bandit!" Hayden clapped his hands to get her attention as I heard her shimmy her butt under the bed. "You have so many toys that you're allowed to chew on. Thomas the train is not one of them."

Giggling, I slid off the bed and helped Hayden corner her while extracting the plush Thomas the Train from her mouth. "Bandit," I grabbed her and kissed her pouting face. "Go attack your Mr. Hippo. Where's Jasper?"

She perked her ears when I mentioned her brother's name and looked towards the living room. He was probably sleeping on the couch or chewing on a bone he had managed to hide from his sister.

"Let's go find him," I cooed and walked out to see Jasper guarding the pink hippo we had just bought them while gnawing on a bone. "Jasper."

He eyed me and continued chewing while shifting away from the hippo.

Moving the toy to the opposite side of the couch, I handed it to Bandit and watched her begin to chew on one of its feet.

"I think you have this mother thing down perfectly," Hayden chuckled and wrapped his arms around my belly. "Ryder is going to love playing with them too."

"They're either going to love him or hate him when he starts pulling on their ears or something."

Hayden's phone began ringing with a Facetime call as we saw Darina was calling. We had promised her as soon as we had gotten over the fact that we were now married she could come visit.

"Hello Darina," Hayden answered and sat down between the dogs.

"Guess what."

Before Hayden could even get a word in she started talking again. "Is Dasha there?"

"Right here!" I called from the chair and waved when Hayden switched views.

"Great. I have good news! I'm wanting to come visit during spring break because I got an early acceptance into San Jose State! And I know that's not super far from you."

"About an hour if you hit traffic early on. When does this mean you're graduating?"

"Next semester. Yes they do have December graduations for my highschool, so I'll just miss my last semester of Senior year."

"You want to miss out on prom? And senior pictures in the spring?"

"They're telling us we don't have the funds for a prom currently. And I'm doing fall senior pictures! It'll be prettier in Duran with the trees changing colors."

"I guess if mom and dad are okay with that," Hayden shrugged. "I'm proud of you D."

"Thanks," I could tell she was smiling on the phone. "So... can I come visit this March for my spring break? I don't have to stay the whole time. But I wanted to check out the campus and stuff."

"That's fine," I answered and Hayden nodded.

"Perfect!" She giggled and thanked us before hanging up.
