Chapter 4; Attack

It was the third day of traveling to the cottage through the forest, and no sign of the cottage, Q-Bae, Nimh, and Bailey feeling a little uncomfortable due to hunger and tiredness for a day. But hopefully, they can arrive at the cottage in no time...i think.

" Q-Bae, are we there yet?" She asked him with a soft groan after she checks her bag for food, and there's no food left, the flying red panda turned around to her and reply with a small grin " No, but we can find the place." The girl placed her hand on her abdomen and she feels the growl then she whines " Ugh, I guess. Hope the old hag will making some nice food..."

" I'm kinda hungry too, Bailey," Nimh said, " I ate berries yesterday, and it wasn't enough to fill my stomach I guess." " I should have brought more food for this journey." Bailey replied " Q-Bae, do you know where are you going?" The red panda begins to think about for a while, and he answers" Probably, I wish I fly up and see where we are, but I don't have the strength to do that cause of hunger."

It was a moment of silence until he sees Bailey started to make her pace quick ahead Q-Bae and Nimh. " Bailey, we have to stick together!" Q-Bae shouted as he and Nimh try to catch up with her, then she turned her head to them and says while pointing in a different direction " I know what am I doing!maybe we could the shortcut!"

Q-Bae begins to get worried and kinda gets a little angry cause of her reckless behavior " You don't know this forest well, and you might get yourself in trouble!" " Don't worry, I will be careful!" She said as she runs towards that direction until she trips on the tree branch and falls into a hole, both Nimh and Q-Bae witnessed Bailey fall down, and the rabbit shouts " Bailey!"

She let out a groan escape her lips and rubs her head a little then looks up at them, and then she says " I'm fine!" " Bailey, you could have died!" Q-Bae shouted, " Don't worry, we will figure out to get you out! Just stay here, and I will get mistress!" Then he turned his head to Nimh " Make sure she won't do anything stupid!" With that, he left them.

So they waited, Nimh feeling anxious and alone as he looks around his surroundings, and Bailey feeling scared, then she thinks to herself while sitting down on the ground ' Damn, I'm stuck here...what am I suppose to do...' Then, she sees something shiny on the ground, so she walks over to the object and sees a diamond shape stone.

So she picks it up and examines it for a while, 'it's so...shiny...' She thought to herself ' Maybe, I will sell it after this. It will cost a fortune!' Before she put it in her pocket, the diamond-shaped stone glows brightly that she cannot see what's going on. Once it's over, she cannot see the stone in her hand, instead, she sees a marking on her wrist.

Her eyes went wide in total shock and think the stone kinda sink into her body while it glows brightly, and it kinda formed into a tattoo, weird. Why a stone gives her a tattoo like that.

While she's trying to figure out what's going on, Nimh was still waiting for Q-Bae and his Mistress to return, then he heard rustling from the bush, ' Oh, thank goodness, they're here!' With that, he hops towards the bush, and stop when it reveals a big bear coming out from the bush, his eyes went wide in total shock and say " Uhm, hi?" With that, the bear roared loudly that cause to Nimh froze in place and started to run away from the bear

Bailey heard the bear roar from above and started to panic ' Oh no, Nimh! ' she quickly lookup, and try to climb up then her foot slips and fell down as she let out a yelp then shuts her eyes but she does not hit the ground, Bailey slowly open her eyes, and she sees herself ...levitating? She cannot become her eyes, but first, she has to save the rabbit from the bear.

Bailey tried to control this power while climbing up, and finally, she made it then she sees the Bear was chasing the rabbit, her eyes went wide and shout " Nimh!" with that, she quickly grabs the stick nearby, and shout as she swings her stick at the bear while Nimh ran behind her.

But the bear smacks the stick of her hand, and then suddenly the bear... Speaks "  BEARVERLY DOES NOT LIKE WHEN MEAN LADY SWING STICK " " it talks?!" Bailey said to herself as she steps away from the talking bear.

Suddenly, a wolf jumps from the bushes and attacks the bear, she turned her head to the rabbit and asks " Are you okay?" " Y-yeah..." He said as he's shaking in fear as he buried his face on her leg. Once it's over, the wolf drove the bear away, she let out a sigh of relief escape her lips and says " Thank goodness, a random wolf saves -" then she got interrupted by a growling wolf, and he speaks " I know you..."

" Oh, no, he's one of them." Bailey said to herself, feeling nervous and lowkey scared " How did you know?" " I remember your annoying voice, Lady...." He replied as he walks towards her " And you better figure out fast how did you turn all of us into animals!"

Nimh quickly hops towards him and says to the angry wolf " Please! She's trying to figure out somehow!" With that, the wolf push the rabbit out of the way and growls while walking towards her " Stay out of this, Rabbit! "

" Listen, you saved us! and I can try to find a way to undo it!" She explained as she backs away, and he glares at her while his growl getting louder " but I didn't know you're the zookeeper who gives the magic water bottle...!" With that, he started to jump to attack Bailey while She raises her hand to defend herself from the wolf's attack.

But nothing happens, she lowers her arms and sees the wolf on the ground, trying to get up " W...what's this??" He said to himself while trying to get up, there, Q-Bae arrive with an old woman following him while doing a spell on the creature, and says " I thought she's in the hole, Q-Bae"

" Me too, " Q-Bae replied to her and flys to Bailey then ask " How did you get out?" " I...don't know..." Bailey answered him, and turned her head to the elder woman walking towards the wolf and examine him for a while " What are you looking at? " he growls at her " what are you gonna do with me? "

" Nothing, but I have to keep you restrained for a while until you learn your lesson." She said while raising her eyebrow and look at Nimh, she can hear him saying 'fuck my life...' letting a soft chuckle as she examines the rabbit.

Bailey slowly approaches the old woman and asks " Hate to bother you right now, but...who are you?" The old woman turned her head to her and stares at her for a minute then she answers " My name is Jasmine, a witch..."
