Chapter 6 Panic work

Someone nock on my door and wakes me. I open the door and find the hallway empty. It is a paper on the ground, I pick it up and read it.

'Use your oldest clothes and clean my office, Marko will help you finding what you need. Do not touch anything in there. You have one hour. Stay as a human'

I am still a bit sleepy and read it again. Wait what, I read it again. I am in shocked, it is no way I can find Marko and clean that office in less than an hour. I get dressed, equips my collar, and start my search for Marco. I read it one last time. Find Macro, clean office. I ask around, but no one has seen him today. I almost start to cry when Marko comes out a door.

"Macro, please help me"

Macro can see the panic in my face and after he reader the paper can I see he is in complete shock.

"I will help you cleaning there, Michael can't be serious"

He fills 2 buckets with water, and we walk to his office. It is empty. We start clean the floor, washing the bookshelf and the dark wood desk when Michael comes in. We were almost finish.

"M-master?"

I look scared at him.

"I expected you to be alone pet"

Michael waves Marco out and goes towards me.

"I was not expecting you to be finished, the reason was to know where to find you"

I nod to him and finish the work.

"I want to know more about you"

I am confuse, what do he want?

"Your name, is it Kristine?"

"Yes, my nickname or pet name is Kris"

He laughs a little.

"Your pet name is Kris?"

I nod to him and wait.

"That wolf that follow us, how do you know it?"

I was hoping he would forget him.

"It's my brother"

I answer him, and I relaxed that I did a big mistake.

"You brother, what is his full name?"

"His name is Drew Sky"

I answer quickly.

"And his age?"

Yes, how old is Drew?

"I don't remember the exact age, but I believe he is 28 or 29 now"

I say nervous to him. He removed my collar and surprises me more.

"Wear this collar, I think it suit you better."

He gives me a silver collar decorated with small diamonds and in the middle is it a snowflake held in place by chains. It is heavy but also pretty.

"Thank you master"

He looks at me.

"So, you like it?"

"I love it"

He smiles to me before someone nock on the door. In comes a vampire whit food. He puts it down on the table, looks at me for some second and disappears. I sigh when I see the food and start to feel a bit hungry, but I don't say anything. I sit down on the floor and close my eyes.

"Hungry? Here is some food for you"

He places 2 metal dog bowls in front of me. One is filled with water, the second is filled with food. I am so confused and look at him.

"Start to eat or I remove it, and don't changes"

I quickly start to eat. It is not much more food than the pet store gave us, but it tastes better. After I'm done eating, do I pick up the bowl with water and drink it. I start to think about everything now.
Way did he give me this collar and food? Was it to be kind or is it a catch here?

"Thanks for the food master"

He smiles to me before I see a glass filled with an almost red black liquid, its blood. I almost throw up when I see him drinking it, and he must have seen it because he stands in front of me and hold a hand on me forehead.

"What is it? Was it the blood?"

"Yes, I'm not used to see vampires drinking"

He shakes his head.

"You will get used to it"

Michael attach a leash to my new collar and lead me out. We walk to his room and he opens the door.

"There is a bathroom, go in there and shower and do what else you need to do, we will live in 30 minutes"

I walk in, and see that it is some makeup on the sink. I take a quick shower, brushes my teeth and apply some makeup. I walk out with my hair wrapped in a towel.

"Done?"

"Yes master"

"Good, leave the towel there and follow"

Michael point to the bathroom. I do as he told me before running after him.
We walk out to a car, and get in.

"Where are we going?"

I feel uncomfortable not knowing where we are headed.

"The store"

That does not tell me anything, what store does he mean? Wait, is he going to return me?

"What is your mind pet?"

"What store are we going to? A pet store?"

"No pet, relaxed"

I sigh of relief before Michael start to pat me on the head, almost like a dog. Does he do that to annoy my or to make me calm down? I start to get irritated

After an hour do we arrive at a big shopping center. Michael almost drag me out. Inside is people walk in all directions, most humans is in a leash but a few is not.

"What are we doing here master?"

"You need some new clothes"

I look around and see one of the vampires that kidnapped me, he recognizes me and come over.

"Was not expecting to meet you again wolf girl"

"You know this one?"

Michael asks him.

"Yes, I was after her and the brother"

"Do you remember me?"

I think before nodding to him.

"How can I forget? You were the one that hit yours head on the rocks"

His red eyes light up, but I know he won't dare touch me now.
Michael drags in the leach, signaling to me it is time to go. I follow him to a clothing store, and we stops outside.

"Here is how it will be, find what you want, I decide whether we buy it or not"

"Understood master"

I start to browse the clothes and end up with a black winter jacket, some underwear, some new dark gray shoes, black pants and 2 t-shirts. After we are done at the clothing store does Michael stop and look at me.

"You will also need a dress for special events, I will decide which one you will wear"

I was not expecting that.

"Do as you are told inside her pet"

He says as we walk on the store.

"Yes master"

In the store do I try out different types off dresses before I try one he likes. It is black with red details, a low neck and long arms. The skirt almost touching the floor.

"That one looks good, I take it"

When we are done and on the way out do we hear a high crashing sound. We stops and looks in the direction of the sound. A human man is laying on the ground in front of a broken display window.
