RAMI INVITED AIYANA ALONG with her mother to this interview he has with Stephen Colbert. Since all late-night shows are taped during the day, Aiyana switches around a few things so she and her mother could come. Plus Tisha really wanted to see Rami at this interview. Aiyana has noticed that her mother is very supportive of Rami which great. She asks about his work, gives him advice when it's needed or not. Ana is just grateful that her mother is happy right now.

She looks at herself in the vanity mirror in the dressing room for Rami. Ana had a hard time figuring out what she was going to wear but she decided on a tan turtle neck sweater and black straight-legged jeans with a Gucci belt paired with some white sneakers. The woman hugs herself in the darker tan fuzzy teddy bear jacket. Her mother came looking classy with some causal in the mix, a black blazer with a white blouse and some jeans along with some little booties.

Aiyana saw Rami getting freshen up before he leaves out. She smirks softly seeing the shirt he's in is definitely slightly see-through, he's so worried about that. Before she could even speak to him about it, Madison was rushing her and her mother out to their seats.

Rami sees them going and hurries over. He first speaks with Tisha. She smiles softly and tells him quick good luck as they shared a tight hug. Aiyana beams at the sight of her mother and boyfriend. He moves onto Ana who is ready for their hug.

"Knock em' dead, Superstar." She whispers in his ear as he chuckles. They pull away and she glances at his shirt. "I see your nipples by the way." Aiyana teases.

Rami looks down frantically and shuts his eyes. Aiyana lifts up his chin and lightly kiss his cheek. He smiles shyly, "I'll see you out there."

Then they were whisked away to sit in their seat close to the front over to the side. A few people look over to see who they were but pay them no mind. Aiyana hasn't sat in on any of Rami's interviews, she sits at home watching them instead. She was excited but not like her mother. This is the first time Tisha is experiencing the 'celebrity' lifestyle. Once they took their seats, Aiyana felt her mother take hold of her hand.

"Yes, Ma?" Ana said as she watches her mother just stared at the stage. "Are you okay?"

Tisha nods and smiles sweetly, "Yeah, I'm just in awe. To think that only some years ago you were dreaming over and talking our ears off about this man, and here we are. Here you are." She says making Aiyana blush heavily. The fifty-eight-year-old woman sighs and turns slightly to her daughter. "I'm glad I'm coming this week."

Aiyana squeezes her hand and kisses her cheek. "I'm glad you came too. You needed some time away from everything."

Yesterday and the day before, the three of them spend time going around the city to show Tisha things she never has seen before. From shopping and visiting various bookstores and cafes. They all had a great time. Now it's only two more days until she goes back home. Aiyana is a bit nervous but knows that her mother will be fine. She can barely care less about her father since he doesn't seem to care about the woman that birthed his children, and stayed with him for over 35 years.

"I know honey, I have to speak with my lawyer when we get back to the apartment. He has some information to tell me." She explains. "Possibly the divorce can be finalized by next February."

Aiyana doesn't know what to say about all of this. She looked up to her parent's marriage and hope to have one like them, but now it's all difficult and strange. Their family believes in long marriage and forgiveness. The things that her mother told her over this week made him question why she stayed in the marriage for so long. Ana found out that her father was a harsh spiteful man towards her mother for some years now. She loves him but hates the things he put her through. Never in their family line has it been a divorce so this is history.

"I just want to start over, my friends told me that I still have time to start over things." Her mother speaks. "All of you are grown now. Jamal has a family, Jason is doing his thing and you are happy and doing your doing. I don't have to worry so much about my babies anymore."

"Oh Mama, you still have to worry about us." Aiyana jokes but seems a bit serious too. "We will always worry about you and dad. You can always start over. Take some time for you finally."

Tisha nods softly, "That's why I'm thinking of moving from Minnesota. It's still up in their air but I want to move and honestly...Now don't get mad.." She laughs and Ana does the same. "I really like it here, Aiyana."

"Here? As in New York? You want to live here?" She is in a state of shock since almost seven years ago her mother was yelling and was about to disown her when she decided to move here. "Well, well. The tables have turned." She smirks as her mother playfully hits her arm.

"Oh hush it." Tisha mumbles. Everyone around can see that the show is about to start back up. The cameras start positioning themselves around the staging set up as the live band plays.

Aiyana leans in her ear and whispers, "I'm not mad. I would love to have you come here, Mama." Saying that made her mother smile widely.

Maybe if she's closer towards me things will get better for her and me...

"And here he is, Rami Malek!"

Once he came strolling out, everyone is on their feet clapping. I smile at my lovely boyfriend waving at the crowd, his eyes magic found my mother and me. He sends a small grin and points at us. Everyone takes their seats including the two men on the stage.

"Rami, How are you? It seems like I'm seeing you all over the place nowadays."

"I'm doing great, can't complain. I'm sorry if I'm everywhere. Am I annoying you?" Rami laughs.

Stephen chuckles and pats his desk. "No, I love seeing the gorgeous face of yours. Whether it's a billboard or on television. That's what people need. Their daily dose of Rami Malek in their lives."

"Well when you put it like that, I enjoy it....No, no!" Everyone in the crowd laughs at him while he tries to hide his blushing face. "I have to say that I still find seeing my face up on buses or taxis."

"You told me a story before you came out here about seeing the first billboard of 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. This happened a few days ago right?"

I instantly know exactly what he is speaking about, this story involves me. It happen the day before yesterday when we were all just exploring the city together.
