Not a couple
She stared at her door, aware of his voice.
"Rae, I need to know."
"No."
"Please, Raven. Did he hurt you?"
"No."
"Liar."
Raven sighed, looking at the 'S' burned into her wrist. Slade had branded her, marked her with his name.
He had hurt her. Her body, her pride.
"Go away, Robin."
Her voice cracked, and she knew he heard it. She heard the override code being typed in, and stared as Robin looked at her, seeing to burned flesh.
"Raven...."
"I'm fine. Go away."
She turned to face her window, looking at the other 'S' on her leg.
Robin settled behind her, pulling her into a hug.
"I'm sorry, Rae."
"I'm fine. Don't pity me."
He felt her tense, and nuzzled his face into her neck.
Raven sighed, tugging at her hood. Robin blocked it, keeping it down.
"He marked you..."
"Yes, Robin." She held her wrist, staring at the burn.
Robin kissed her cheek, his hand touching her shoulder.
"I won't let it happen again."
