Ooooh. Okay so I'm having a great time writing this story! :D Please enjoy it and trust me, it'll get better.

As soon as i finished greeting everyone that had come to celebrate my return I had tried to keep away from Jake, and to me it seemed he was trying to do the same. Something was weird, and horribly wrong with the fact I had found him so alluring, so unbelievably delicious... Just think about his smell made me want to...WOAH, okay. I definitely need to get my priorities straight. I thought to myself, shooting my dad a panicked look to see if he had noticed my distracted and glazed over look. I had no doubt that I probably looked like a zombie picturing a healthy portion of brains on a silver platter. Ha. That made me crack up, a smirk playing on my naturally dark pink lips. I tried to hide it, fearing that to the others starring at me I looked like a freak that had some huge ego and was smiling at all the people who had taken time out of their busy schedules to come and welcome me back home. Woah. I don't think someone could think that even if they tried. Okay, now my thoughts were way off topic. All I needed to be thinking about was to stay away from Jake. And hopefully, he would stay away from me.

Someone slung their arm over my shoulder, breaking my train of thought. I turned to see who had brought me out of my daze and grinned. My younger brother Greg was smiling at me, his extremely straight and white teeth and crooked grin giving him a mischievous look. He looked relatively similar to me, though his blond hair was noticeably darker then mine and his blue eyes had more grey in them then mine did.

"What's up big sis? Thinkin' about that boyfriend you left back in Canada?" He chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

"I'd cover those teeth of yours, their blinding me already." He shoved him a bit but his arm kept me pressed up against him. I noted that he was noticeably taller then me, he grew a lot since the last time he came up to Canada to visit. I tried to estimate his height, maybe a bit shorter then dad, so I'd say maybe 6"1 or maybe 6"2. I decided to point that out, as he was always self-conscious about his height.

"So, I see you're not a squirt anymore. Seems like yesterday you were only Five feet tall." I snickered and he blushed, his cheeks turning a rosy pink. D'awe, my little brother was growing up.

"Hey, at least I won't be short like you for the rest of my life." He stood proud, as if what he had just said was a pretty good comeback. But I had to laugh, he was pretty pathetic.

I decided to change the subject, maybe to more pressing matters. "So, I heard you found your sweetheart. Y'all going to introduce me?" I added a fake Texas twang just for the effect. Oh god, I loved Texans, they had the best voices I'd ever heard.

He blushed even deeper, his cheeks almost turning scarlet red. "Uh...well I-I...uh..." He pulled on the collar of his shirt as if it was choking him.

"Oh how I love it when your cheeks turn that color." A girl with dark brown hair strode over, she had naturally tan skin and dark brown eyes, almost black. She was curvy in all the right places and had a long legs. She kinda reminded me of myself, the way she smirked at him and toyed with the buttons on his shirt. But the hard look she gave me made me jump back, she was sizing me up as if she had a fight on her hands. I knew the look but I didn't surrender, I wouldn't surrender my own brother to a girl I hadn't even met. He was my little sidekick, he used to always trail behind me and I looked after him and I planed on doing so till my death. For the first time she gave me a good look, realisation floated across my face as she saw the obvious similarities between me and my brother. The defensive and aggresive pose she held over him relaxed. "Oh, so this is the famous Sunny." Giving me a smile that I didn't know was either genuine or fake a smiled back sweetly and extended my right hand.

"Yeah, I'm Sunny. You're Nancy, right? My little brothers mate?" I shot him a sly smile and winked. My expression made him stiffen and he glared at me. Nancy only smiled and but didn't shake my hand, instead she threw her arms around my neck and brought me into a hug. Shocked, I looked back to my brother curiously.

"Oh, and you're Sunny! Ha. I thought you were some slut bitch trying to take my little Greggy away! Oh how wrong I was, you look so much like him, or he looks like you. Except well, for the obvious you're a chick." She giggled and pulled away from me, her hands resting on my shoulders. "You and I will be best friends, okay?" She giggled again but this time skipped over to my brother and looped her arm threw his. I was a little bit confused over the situation and how drastically the temperament had changed. Then I thought struck my mind; maybe I could mind link Greg like when we were kids.

Hey, Greggy-weggy. Your mate seems... lovely. But she doesn't have some Bi-polar disease does she?

At first I was doubtful of a reply and I but my lip in frustration, a crease forming between my eyebrows.

Oh, well I'm glad you approve of her. And no, she just get's...Possessive. And hey, I can't blame her, I'm hot to the core.

I looked at him and rolled my eyes, he returned my gesture with a wink. I sighed, plopping down in a lawn chair and relaxing. I was in the middle of working on a tan when I stiffened. An alluring smell made me lose all train of thought, my wolf was taking over and I suspected my eyes were changing color, going gold then flicking back to blue. I was losing all focus, the peppermint was so strong I felt I could inhale it all until it was gone. That's when my vision caught him and I snapped back into reality, fumbling to regain my balance as a tilted out of the lawn chair. My hand slipped off the arm rest and my chin came crashing down on it. Ow. The sudden impact of the chair made my chair tilt that flip on it's side. Double ow.  I heard a bunch of laughter from around me and looked up, multiple eyes were staring at me. But only one pair were the eyes I was searching for, and when they met mine I could see the affection in them. Confusion filled my face and my mind as I wondered why he was looking at me with such an emotion. It seemed like he snapped out of his daze when he looked at me as if I was a monster with three heads, he scowled at me and turned abruptly away. I felt strong arms wrap around me and haul me up to my feet, they were a bit wobbly at first but I quickly regained my balance. I turned to see who had bothered to lift me up when I saw someone I hadn't seen in a long time.

"Reese!" I threw my arms around him in a tight hug, I couldn't reach his neck so I just wrapped them around his ribs.

"Hey Sun, seems like you haven't grown since the last time we saw each other." His body shook as he chuckled, his muscular arms wrapping around my body and bringing my closer with a squeeze.

"Can't..breathe." I gasped as the breath whooshed out of me, his bear hug was a little too strong. His body shook harder with laughter but he let me go. I inhaled deeply, trying to get as much air into my lungs as possible.

"Seems like you're still as dramatic as ever, Sun." He grinned wide and with all his teeth, his arm reaching out to the table to take a handful of chips off my plate. He shoved all of them in his mouth and started to chew; crumbs flew everywhere and some entire soggy chips fell out of his mouth. Gross.

"And it seems you are still as gross and messy as ever. you better come back later to sweep those up." I crossed my arms over my chest and gave a fake 'Do-what-I-say-or-else' look. He just laughed like an idiot and more crumbs and chucks of chips flew out of his mouth. I smiled and and shook my head, he was still the old Reese I remember.

"Sunny! Oh, Sunny! Come here!" Nancy squealed and rushed over to me, snatching my hand and towing me along behind her with too much enthusiasm. "I bought you a few things! I knew you were coming and that you'd probably get a boyfriend fast once you were here so..."

She tugged me into my house and up the flight of wooden stairs, she pulled me down the long hallway and into my old room. Wow. It was just like I remembered; same beach blue walls, white ceiling and tan wooden floors. They were he same color of the sand on a ocean beach. I had a bunch of wooden horses on my white dresser and some old family pictures too. I felt at home in here, more then I did in Canada with my mom.

Nancy opened the top drawer and pulled out two black pieces of clothing. They looked sort of like... langerie. They were langerie. They had a small pink bow on them and were practically see-through, they had lace around the shoulders/legs and band. I would not wear those. Ever.

"I went to Victoria's Secret and bought you these! Aren't they cute! They're so sexy and adorable, I was going to get myself a pair but then I thought twice and only bought it for you. It's a welcome home present from me!" She squealed only once but it was still enough to annoy the shit out of me. Did she want to embarrass me? Or was she just trying to be nice.

"Don't you like them, Sunny?"Her face fell for a moment and I decided to go with option 2.

"Of course, I love them! They're adorable and you're right they are sexy! But I don't think I'll be getting a boyfriend anytime soon." I smiled trying to be more persuasive that I liked them.

She waved her arm and rolled her eyes."With how gorgeously beautiful you are, you'll get one in no time." Hmm. I'm starting to like her. She startled me with a big "OH!" and a jumped back into the door. "How about I introduce you to my brother! He's gorgeously attractive and he's single. For the moment that is."

I held my hands up to protest when something she did reminder me of someone. The were she narrowed her eyes reminded me of someone eerily familiar. "Who's your brother?" I was curious to see if I knew him or not but there was something else..

"Oh, you know don't you? Oh, it's Jake Marshals."

I groaned.
