*(Y/N) POV*

Why. Why me. Did I ever do something bad. All my life, all the work and dedication, just to lead me here. The lie in which I chased my entire life. I've should've known better. Life is a lot uglier than people like to make it out in hopes that those lies become truths. But it doesn't matter anymore. I've had enough with this. As I sat there, I pulled out my revolver. I loaded it with a bullet as I cocked back the hammer. I pressed the cold hard steel against my scarred body. No more.

*Earlier that day*

The warm sun blinded me as I sat up. With a groan, I pulled the covers off to look at my bruised and scarred body. Several bandages were still there. "Another day in paradise." I whispered. I got off the bed and walked over to my drawer. You see, I'm not like the others. While they fight the Grimm, I research the Grimm. I even had a minor breakthrough in with I can reanimate recently deceased, but it does come with physical change. No mental change that I'm aware of, just physical. As I got dressed, I walked over to my bird's cage, which was half Grimm. The thing though is that everyone here hates me now. They think I support the Grimm, or evil. How ironic is that. It doesn't matter though as I have my sister here and my partner in crime, Jose, my Mexican/Grimm bird, literal. Always wearing a sombrero.

"Hopefully today is a better day." I said as Jose flew into my shoulder. Jose just nibbled my ear making me laugh. I went through the morning basics, brushing teeth, getting supplies ready for the day, putting on shoes, praying to Oum for no more abuse. You know, everyone's morning routine. I took a deep breath in as I then opened the door. That was a mistake. As I did this, the door happened to hit Ruby, the two faced one. "Ow." She said as she fell back. "I'm so sorry about that." I said.

I've been through enough to know what happens next. "You bitch, you hit my sister." Yang said. She grabbed me by the hair and punched me in the stomach with a few cracks. I fell forward as Nora came from behind and broke a leg. After that was blurry, lots of kicks came at me with several cracks. I felt a high heel scratch my eye pretty good. After awhile, it stopped as there footsteps echoed away. It was silent, peaceful. I've been through so much pain and choas that I'm practically numb to it. I wish things would stay like this. But all good things must come to an end. I sat up and drank on of my potions.

With the breakthrough I had with the Grimm, I was able to study emotions more thoroughly. I started studying emotions and figured out a formula to turn emotions into something physical. It was basically stored up arua, meaning it could do wonders like healing. I never though came out to tell about this since I'm afraid people will get more agitated with me and burn my research. Even the teachers allow this kind of behavior.

Oh well, I got up and dusted myself off as I walked off to Port's classroom. As I neared the classroom, I took a deep breath in for what comes next. I opened the door and stepped in. "Ahh, Mr. (L/N), nice for you to finally show up. After all, we wouldn't want to interrupt your 'precious' research." Port said. "I'm sorry sir." Was all I said as I waited for the inevitable. "Detention after class and extra homework." He said.

I had a heavy binder of new homework. Luckily, it was now lunch. As I entered the cafeteria, I could hear the whispers, feel the glares, and the upcoming doom of mine. Literal, someone was playing Doom's sound track. As I grabbed a tray and got a sandwich, I decided to sit at the edge of the cafeteria where it was less crowded. My sister then sat down next to me as she embraced me in a hug. "Oh big brother, I missed you so much." She said. I hugged her back with a laugh. "But you saw me yesterday, and all the days before that too." I told her. "Yeah, but still. I never want to be separated from you." Lyla said. I just kept silent as I hugged her some more. Eventually, we stopped and started eating.

*Timeskip as Doomslayer finds out on how demons are made (humans)*

The day went on pretty much as you guys would expect it. The classic detention, the beatings. The name calling. I slowly limped down the hallway. It was quite, like I dreamed it to be. I entered my room as Jose cawed at me. There's been a thought though, lingering in the back of my head. A very dark one, in which unlike any other day, today was different. Like a switch, it was flipped and now my thought was becoming reality. I was in my pants as my shirt was stolen by Yang. I sat down on the bed and pulled out my revolver from it's holster. I may be a researcher, but I still had to fight Grimm when out on the field. Finally, peace at last.

*Lyla POV*

I was bringing team RWBY over to (Y/N)'s dorm room. I knew team RWBY and how easy you can become friends with them and for the fact my brother had no friends. So I decided to help him. "So, your brother doesn't have any friends?" Weiss asked. "No, even though he's amazing!" I told her. "How so?" Blake asked. "Well, he basically made a potion made from emotions just like the Grimm do, but instead positive emotions. And guess what?" I asked. "What?" Ruby wondered. "The potions heal everything. He told me ran multiple test and that it can heal injuries or sicknesses." I told them with pride. "Wait, then why didn't he tell anyone else and produce more for the public?!" Weiss asked with slight anger. "Well, because not everyone agrees with his research. They think he's working with the Grimm ever since his breakthrough. He's afraid that if he tells his other breakthrough, people will burn his research down. He already gets severally bullied, even though he denies it." I told them. I looked back to see everyone with a slight regretful face, probably because they couldn't help him.

As we were nearing (Y/N)'s dorm, a loud gunshot rang out. This put everyone on edge, as we rush to the noise to end up at my brother's front door. Ruby tried opening the door, but it wouldn't budge. "Move." Yang said before punching down the door. What I saw horrified me. There, (Y/N) sat on a chair as blood poured out from his wound. I rushed to him as grabbed his body and held onto him. The others were in shock standing in the doorway. "Please, don't go. Please, I love you." I yelled out to him. I cradled his body as I cried. "Quick, get him to the infirmary!" Weiss yelled out. I got an idea as I searched his pants till I found it. I pulled out a bottle of golden liquid. I fumbled with the cap till I unscrewed it and desperately poured it down (Y/N)'s throat. A moment later, his wound closed up as his chest started moving.

I hugged him tighter. "Oh, thank you, thank you. I love you so much. Don't go." I said. But he wasn't awake to hear my words. Team RWBY finally got together and took him from me. "Quickly, let's get (Y/N) to the infirmary!" Ruby said as the girls rushed away with him. There I sat on the blood soaked carpet, alone and cold.
