I am a Mango

I am a mango

I am waiting, oh so lonely in the fridge, for the day that a human eats me

I'm afraid of being eaten, you see,

Not like anyone else in this fridge.

I regret seeing my friend apple being cooked in the big, black monster of a frying pan

All because of that dumb child Tony leaving the fridge door open

I believe that nobody else is afraid

Since nobody has seen what happens to the foods when taken out of the fridge

That, is the life of me, a mango
