Zayn POV

To say I didn't feel nervous would be lying. Of course I felt nervous; I was practically crapping my pants. I hadn't been civil with Jade Thirlwall in so long- she hated me, and well, she had reason to hate me. And now, my girlfriend- who happened to be one of her best friends- and I were going to her house for dinner with their other friends and boyfriends.

"Relax, Zayn," Perrie tried to calm me down on our way, placing a comforting hand on my shoulder as I drove. "Jade's as scary as a puppy. Plus, you two were friends at one point. I'm sure you can be friends again."

"We were friends, but that was before everything happened. We were different people back then, and I don't know if we've changed for better or for worse. I don't know if I've changed for better or worse." I voiced my concerns, and Perrie rolled her eyes.

"You were a great bloke then, and you're a great man now," she said. "Trust me, I wouldn't lie to you."

"That's great to hear," I said, "but still. Jade is savage. I would know, considering the number of times I haven't been able to sleep and have instead gone to YouTube, watching endless compilations of Little Mix being savage and spilling tea and shading people and all. 80% of it is Jade."

Perrie laughed, "I should record that. It would be hilarious to see how Jade would react to this. You, Mr. Zayn Malik, former member of the world's biggest boy band, as well as a successful solo artist, scared of little ole Jade Thirlwall."

"Who is also," I added, "part of the world's biggest girl band. Did you conveniently forget to leave that out?"

Perrie shook her head, "I've really got to tell Jade about this. 20 years from now, when we're done with our careers, you and Jade being best friends will laugh at your ridiculousness."

"As if," I retorted. "20 years from now, Jade will murder me in my sleep 'cos I'll have made some stupid mistake or something."

Perrie sighed, "There really is no telling you, is there? Whatever, we're here. Hopefully you'll be able to keep your Jadephobia at bay."

"Jadephobia?" I asked as I got out of the car- after parking it of course- and locked the car. We started walking up to the house. It was a huge house, painted a beautiful baby blue with a white trim. It had several floors, and large windows. The front door was a dark wood, nice and elegant. It reminded me of a dream house I'd drawn several years ago, for me and Perrie. We had been planning on buying a plot of land and having our dream house built.

"Arachnophobia is the fear of spiders, Acrophobia is the fear of heights, Aquaphobia is the fear of open water, and Jadephobia is the fear of the one and only Jade Thirlwall." Perrie said as she rang the doorbell, and Jade opened it.

"Did I hear my name?" she asked, looking at Perrie, then at me.

Perrie nodded, "We were just talking about you."

Jade smiled, "About how awesome I am, I'm assuming?"

"Actually about how you're a pain in the ass," I replied, joking, and Perrie chuckled.

Jade didn't look amused, "Ugh, over all these years of not talking to you I forgot how annoying you were. Which brings me back to the conversation I had with Pez back in 2013." she glanced over at my girlfriend.

Perrie looked a bit clueless, like someone had just asked her how they put salad in a box if the box was sealed. "I don't even remember what you're talking about."
