Chapter 56- Leafa's Stand, a Goddess's Torment

So, after the last chapter, I figured Leafa could use some attention, and so... I hope I did everyone's favorite Housewife Martial Artist a bit of justice XD

The Orc had explained the situation to Leafa, asking him to get his troops, Leafa opted to go Normal- torwards a large mass of Red Knights. Leafa, using Incarnation, managed to fly using wings that she had imagined. This allowed her to get over the mass of Red Knights come down on the horde of enemies like a bludgeon!

Leafa wasted no time in using Lightning Fall, somewhat surprisingly, she shocked the enemy's around her despite it not being ALO. Immediately, the Goddess did a spinning slash which sent out a short range shockwave, shattering and disintegrating the enemies within her immediate vicinity. The Blonde looked around and identified where the center of the circle was and utilized Savage Falcrum to cut her way through a large swathe of the circle- opening it up for the Orcs to clean up the stragglers while Leafa moved left and started to cut down the Red Knights, wanting to keep the gap open for the Orcs. "Are you guys alright?" Lilpilin asked. "What? I thought you were standing by on the Emperor's orders?" The Pugilist responded. Leafa finished off the circle of Red Knights as she jumped into the air, doing a midair somersault. "Because we're comrades, of course!" Leafa answered. The Blonde Goddess turned to face the Orc chief. "Lilpilin, you and the pugilists withdraw. I'll take care of this, alright?" She asked. "We'll fight with you!" Lilpilin exclaimed while clenching his fist. "No, don't! I don't want you to suffer anymore casualties than you already have!" Leafa told him. "Don't worry, it doesn't matter how many of them there are, I won't let them win." Leafa finished as the Orcs and Pugilists began to retreat, she then turned to look at the horde of enemy players. "Alright, time to dance..." Leafa uttered.

Leafa took a step torward the enemy line before activating Sonic Leap, immediately using 'Skill Connect' to transition into Sharp Nail. She cut down 11 with her series of attacks, she noticed a shadow and immediately deduced by the movement and angle of the shadow that it was in the air. The blonde snapped her head in the direction she estimated it to come from just in time to see an arrow flying through the air! Out of reflex alone, she spun her sword in front of her which let her defend herself from the incoming arrow by cutting it into tiny metallic ribbons! She had saved herself from what could've been excruciating pain. However, she noticed a shadow that was looming in front of her and immediately spun around, using the momentum from her previous defensive maneuver in order to feed into a horizontal cleave which severed the Red Knight's pelvis from his torso, causing him to collapse and immediately bleed out. She snapped her head to the left, barely dodging to the side with a cartwheel which she used to transition into a kick on a Red Knight, crushing his skull under her foot. 

Leafa then blocked an axe attack, having to support her blade with both hands, causing her right hand to slowly be cut into by the sword. It was after a few seconds of the life-like pain that Leafa snapped, she'd had enough! Using Incarnation to raise the weight and increase the inertia and hardness of her sword, the axe bounced off which made the inexperienced Knight throw it. Leafa then jumped onto his back, kicking off of his head to leap into the air, knocking his head clean off in the process. She grabbed the axe and spun around, throwing it directly at a column of Red Knights which killed five of them by splitting their chests open! Leafa, now a bit worn out mentally, failed to notice a shimmer in the corner of her eyes. Suddenly, Leafa howled in pain, a cold feeling and sharp pain in her back and abdomen! Looking down, she saw something, a sword, piercing her stomach from behind. The mere thought of what this would mean in her world made her cry and whimper a bit, however she quickly remembered what this world was. She spun around, severing the Knights head and ripped the sword out, gasping in pain. It hurt to take it out but not as much as having it put in hurt. She then stomped her foot and healed her wounds.
