𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗳𝗼𝘆, 𝓗𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓫𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴

𝙿𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝟺- 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚙𝚝 𝟸

Graces POV

We all look as Natalie makes her way down to the end of the table where Blaise sits, she smiles at me and Cora and we wave.

"Coraline Whitman"

She smiles before confidentiality making her way up to the front, we all watch her as she sits down and the hat is put on her head.

Once again I cross my fingers, we all wait for about 3 minutes, which is a long time, before we hear, "SLYTHERIN!"

I cup my hands around my mouth as I cheer for her making me more loud, I hear Blaise and Nat banging their cups on the table.

I smile and shake my head before the woman calls out a name, "Grace Parkinson"

I feel my heart pounding on my chest as I make my way up, god this is scary.

I sit down and feel the hat be placed on my head.

All of a sudden I hear a voice in my head, "ahh Miss Grace Parkinson, I have been waiting for you, a strong witch you are, very clever and smart, uh yes! A quick thinker, you would do good in Ravenclaw, but you are very cunning also, very proud of yourself and your family name, it better be..."

"SLYTHERIN!"

I get off the stool with the biggest smile on my face, I look at the slytherin table and see Blaise, Draco, pansy, Nat and Cora all cheering standing up, I smile and run to the table, but as I'm making my way to the end someone grabs my hand, lucky me it's Draco. "I'm very happy your in slytherin, congratulations Parkinson" he smiles and let's go of my arm, I smile back to and wave to him and continue my way to the end where Blaise Nat and Cora are waiting.

"Yay! We all made it guys" Cora cheers, I sit in between Blaise and Nat, some time goes by and all the rest of the first years get sorted.

"Your attention please!" The old woman clinks her spoon on her cup, Dumbledore stands up, "let the feast begin" he joyfully says.

Lots of food appears before us, all sorts of options, like ham and chicken.

I grab some mashed potatoes and ham with gravy, Blaise and Nat grab the same while Cora grabs some chicken and carrots. "I can't wait for classes tomorrow, I'm mostly excited for potions though" i say, they all nod in agreement, suddenly some commotion goes on at the Gryffindor table. I sit there confused on what's happening before a bunch of ghosts come out of no where, some kids start laughing, they fly around for a bit so we all go back to eating.

Soon enough the feast is over and we have to all head back to our common rooms, "everyone this way please!" The slytherin prefect yells, we all follow him to the dungeon where I assume that the common room is. "All of you listen up, I'm only going to say this once, the password to this common room is very important to remember, it's what is going to get you in, the password is pure-blood" he says and the door swings open.

Holy smokes this place is wicked, it looks like we are under the black lake.

"Now all of you off to bed! You have a big day tomorrow" the prefect tells us and walks away, me, Blaise, Nat and Cora all head up to the dorms, which of course are split up.

"Okay goodnight Blaise, we will see you in the morning" I say giving him a hug, he returns it and walks into his dorm.

Me and the girls head to the last dorm, which has no one in it, thank Merlin, "I call this bed!" Nat yells hopping onto the middle one, Cora takes the left one and I take the right.

I unpack all my stuff into the dresser before taking my night gown and heading to the bathroom to get ready, I brush my teeth and throw on my night gown, and poof! I'm done.

We all climb into bed and shut off the lights, "goodnight you guys" Cora says

"Goodnight" me and Nat both say.

I wonder what tomorrow has in store for us.
