Chapter 4- When Family Members Collide

Keagan's POV ;

-'' Hey Mom.."

My voice was hoarse and raspy from the dryness in my throat considering i just woke up.

-" Oh good you're up. I have some good news and some bad news... Which do you want to hear first?"

Even through the phone i could tell she was tired, but you could also hear the excitement in her voice.

-" Ummm... I guess ill have the good news first."  I could really use it, especially after the dream i just had.

- "Ok! Well your sister is finally awake!"

I was shocked to say the least. Faeble has been in a coma for 4 days and they weren't even sure if she would ever wake up again.

- "What?! That's great! How is she feeling? Is she alright? Can i talk to her?"

This was great news! And although i was afraid to here the bad news i just relished the thought of her finally being awake. The ball of energy that was super smart, loved to read and everyone liked being around. My little twin sister. :D

- ' Well she says she's feeling fine, a little sore but most of it will heal in time. And i don't think you can talk to her right now, i told her to get some rest so she's probably sleeping."

Mom told me.

- "Ok well if that's the good news than what's the bad news?" I asked wondering if it was really that bad because i was pretty sure nothing could make me unhappy after news like that.

-" You see that's the thing..." She said sounding a little hesitant. "When she woke up she couldn't remember anything. The doctor believes she has a mild case of amnesia. She cant remember who she is but she can remember you and your siblings."

- " That's good enough for me! I miss her so much I just want to see her look at me and smile. When Can come visit?" I really wanted to see her, its been almost a whole week of not knowing if she was going to make it or not.

- " I guess you could come tonight if you wish. You might have to wait around a little before she wakes up though. Its your choice but i got to go, im going to give your brother and sister a call to let them know she woke up. ill talk to you later or ill just see you when you come to visit. Bye!" She hung up after that, not even waiting for my reply.

Good bye to you too... I muttered as i closed my phone and set it on the table beside me. I was so caught up in my thoughts that i didn't even realise i was outside my car until i heard a motorcycle ride down my street. Pulling my keys out of my back pocket i thought of what it would be like to see her again, i was getting excited just thinking about it. I unlocked my door and took a seat inside, doing up my seat belt and closing the door. I started the car and pulled out of my drive way slowly making my way to Hamilton General Hospital.

When i arrived half an hour later it was already starting to get dark so i quickly shut the car off, got out and made my way to the front entrance. i walked up to the resepsaniste at the front desk.

" Hi, Im here for my sister, Faeble Montgomery " i said to the lady standing in front of me. She had dark brown frizzy hair in a braid down her back, olive skin and hazel eyes.

" She's in room 302, the elevator is just down the hall " She said pointing down the hall to my right. I thanked her and headed down the hall keeping a look out for the elevator. When i spotted it i pressed the button and waited until it came before getting and taking it up to level 3. I got off and kept on down the hall until i got to room 302, i was just about to knock on the door when all of a sudden it opened, the door hitting me square in the face. I fell down with a oumph and a bag as my butt hit the floor.

" oh my god, I'm so sorry i didn't know anybody was outside." the mystery person said in a semi deep voice. A hand came into view, offering me help up.

I looked up to see who exactly had knocked me over in the first place. I came face to face with a set of light blue eyes. I couldn't believe who was standing in front of me.

" Is it really you?......" I asked.
