"Wake up!" I yelled next to a sleeping Luke, who shot up at the sound of my voice with a small scream.
"Jeez, Julie, what the hell?" He asked, rubbing the spot on his head he'd hit against the wall in his jump.
"Happy birthday!" I yelled, along with Ashton, Calum and Michael as Calum held a cupcake in his hand with a lit candle adorning it.
"Happy birthday to youuuuuu," we all sang. "Happy birthday to youuuu. Happy birthday dear Lukeyyyy, happy birthday to youuuuu."
"Thanks guys," he said as Calum handed him his cupcake, and Luke quickly made a wish before blowing out the candle.
After playing two shows in Tinley Park, Illinois, we had a few days off before going up to Minnesota to continue the tour. So, we'd all gone up to Chicago for a couple days. And now it was Luke's seventeenth birthday, so we wanted to do something special to celebrate.
"Twitcam time!" Michael said, checking his phone for the time, and Ashton grabbed his laptop.
"Dammit, we're late again," Cal said.
"Calum, when are we ever on time?" Luke asked, laughing.
"Good point," Calum said.
"Alright, we're live in three, two, one," Ashton said as the laptop counted down, and then we were live for thousands of people.
"Hi guys!" The boys all yelled.
"It's my birthday!" Luke exclaimed.
"And today we're joined by Julie, because her brother's a loser and ditched her so they could get an early start on exploring Chicago today," Ashton explained.
"Chick-a-go!" Calum yelled.
"So guys, why don't you ask us some questions?" Ashton asked. "We don't really have a plan for this Twitcam."
"Ummm, Ashley asks us where we're going after this," Cal said, looking at the screen. "And the answer to that question is... We will be in Mini Apples in two days to play for all you beautiful people up there."
There were more questions. Most of the ones I could see were about Luke and I. Asking if we were dating, others asking if we liked each other and why we weren't dating yet. Others even asked if I liked any of the other guys. I didn't answer, but if I had, the answer was no. Ashton, Calum, and Michael were like my brothers. Luke had my heart but he was the one I couldn't have. I couldn't have any of them. Besides, Ashton liked Briana, too. So he was already out of the equation.
"Kara asks if we would rather be dogs who meowed instead of barked, or if we would be talking clams." Michael said.
"Awwww!" I said. "Meowing dogs would be so cute!"
"You're such a girl, Julie," Ashton said, rolling his eyes.
"What would you pick?" I asked him.
"Meowing dog," he said.
"Why?" I asked.
"...they're cute," he said, and I rolled my eyes.
"You're such a girl, Ashton," I said, and then all the tweets came flooding in.

"I'd be the clam," Luke said. "So people wouldn't make fun of my height."
"You'd get stepped on," Calum pointed out.
"They wouldn't make fun of your height if you were a dog," Michael said.
"With my luck I'd end up being like a Great Dane or something," he said. "So I pick the clam."
Michael also picked the clam. And Calum, being Calum, decided on the meowing dog to feed his dog obsession. There were more questions about me and Luke, ones they all actively avoided, for which I was thankful. I didn't like talking about me and Luke, so this was a giant relief.
Getting off the Twitcam, Michael decided to order some pizzas and we had lunch at the hotel. We had plans to go to this under twenty-one club tonight, well, all of us except for Louis, who was twenty-one, but he had used the time off to fly on a quick trip to England to see Eleanor, since it was her birthday as well. And Niall, well... He wasn't here either. He'd gotten a call from his brother that his sister-in-law, Denise, had gone into labor, so he flew back to Ireland for those few days.
"I'm surprised you agreed to this whole Zero Gravity thing," Luke said as we ate our pizza. "I didn't think clubs would be your thing."
I shrugged, "I mean, you're shy too. And I'll be with you guys, so..." I trailed off. "I guess it sounds kinda fun,"
"We don't have to do this," Luke said. "I'd be just as happy if we went bowling, or even if we just stayed in and played video games all night."
"Luke, it's your birthday, we're doing something fun," I told him, finishing my pizza and standing up. "I should get back to my room to get dressed. I'll meet you guys in an hour?"
I wore a sparkly silver bodycon dress, along with some black flats. My hair was curled, and several bracelets adorned my wrist. As soon as Harry was ready, and I was surprised he agreed to let me wear what I did, we headed over to see the 5SOS boys.
"Party time!" Michael yelled, opening the door and ushering us inside.
"Whoa," Ashton said, looking back and forth from me to Luke when he saw me. "You look awesome,"
"Thanks," I said. "You guys too, look... awesome,"
"Alright, let's do this," Calum said.
Zero Gravity, here we come.
